in usa AT&T is still edge in many areas they have very spotty 3G coverage lol , thats USA only verizon has best 3G ( evdo ) coverage in USA , CDMA ROCKS !!!

well the reliance service books will give u rworld browser which means it will open up proxy based rworld only for non proxy based u will need to load anworn service books again thats why i said its a partial fix , nahi to complete fix na bolta but for most people it doesnt matter if u use rworld or hacked browser as you wil be charged in both

gsm edge honestly s**ks if u compare speeds with 1x all gsm operators have downgraded speeds on edge but only advantage edge has over 1X is the fact that in 1X u will miss calls whereas in edge call will come in through other channel

if it was true then by just changing parameters 3G wont work u will also need to change your sim card to 3G sim card

3G will start with all operators in next 3-4 mnths
