i doubt as the chipset is new and the os also is different .....fingers crossed for now

simply screwing up the os of your phone after which u will b cusring yourself every single moment and start hunting forums after forums to find a solution

yes i know once meid device is cracked it wont b a problem ..... but what i m concerned is that if they are using a different version of radio which has been patched against all exploits then it will take more time ......v will have to wiat till its release

first let it launch then cracking wud come into play ,,,, there wud b people trying to crack it but lets see what palm has done in this handset to prevent it ....lets see what make /version radio has been used all this will take time ....may be lots of time .. rather i m waiting for a gsm version of this device

in the presentation it is already been announced that first the cdma version will b released First, the handset will be launched as a Sprint exclusive in the US, but will be available in the future in GSM form. seems like iphone killer legacy will keep goin on rather then differentiating a product websites like cnet are more interested in comparing it with iphone to see what it does relatively more than iphone

the best part is it has a 3.1 inch capacitative touchscreen and omap3 processor ... also first the cdma version will b released on sprint followed by gsm ...it comes with inbuilt 8gb no memory crad slot though the wireless charging was actually a demo for powermat which they are demonstrating at CES ...they have shown several devices which cud b charged wirelessley with powermat ...

when will that be available

well we also need to see one aspect that when palm was at its pinnacle that time india wasnt a strong name in mobile market thats y not mcuh publicity in india ....but since last few yrs things have changed rapidly and like other manufactureres i think palm will also b having palns of rolling out their devices in india .....but i guess their priority rite now will b getting things rite and getting in competition and some market share as they have lost a lot of ground to other brands also in india the market is different ,,,,v dont have that many power users people look for things like camera/fm/music over pda functionality ....people still prefer nokia over other brands

well it will take a lot more time for touch hd to come on cdma .....but goin by the leaked roadmap of htc devices ( it was leaked last yr ) first they were suppose to release htc diamond/victor they did, next was htc touch pro/raphael they did , next was htc touch dual pro ...which is yet to see light of day and at present sprint is geared up in releasing blackberry bold cdma on its network which is next in pipeline ...so i guess its a wait and watch situation

main reason for upgarde to version 6.2.2 is that it adds support for windows vista ...there were issues faced by many vista users on version 4.1.4..secondly there are some gui changes like the colours ( in calendars /notes) has been removed ...no major improvemnet though ... if u r a vista user then upgrade

nokia 3120 classic is a 3G ...class 32gprs and class 32 edge phone with bluetooth and usb .. but less battery life ..talktime of around 3-3.5 hrs only and is more in money
