Bro one more member is having similar issue inthe other treo thread Which version firmware are u using u can try to updte to latest 1.07 Also make sure u don't have many apps on phone memory .... .also you can just do hard reset and see whether the problem persists (make sure to backup, don't backup any apps) When ur device resets does it go thru loops of resets If even after hard reset problem persists then it could b the either the handset or other network parameters

Yes you can go from cdma to gsm while retaining your number but for that u will have to wait for mnp (number portability) to come into effect Also when reliance will launch it's gsm service u will b able to migrate to their gsm service keeping ur number same So just cross ur fingers and wait till mnp comes into effect ( I don't know exactly when it will b )...of else u can get a new gsm connection with a new number

Good u got it to working ....three way conferencing goes well with treo For movies honestly speaking I don't like to watch movies on palm due to odd 1:1aspect ratio but my recommendation for videos would b core player simply coz there is no need to convert the video format just copy paste the video file to memory card and play it I would have posted some screenshots of movie playback on treo but my LAN connection is down at present check out the screenshots of movie 300 on core player ....the movie was just copy pasted on storage card...the playback was smooth with no glitters

@vishal Bro if u have a problem make sure u describe it properly ...u never mentioned that you are havinga qwest phone with sprint rom...it's neither mentioned here nor in your pm .... Had u mentioned this before v cud have suugested you to put. A stock rom before doing anything else .... As mentioned load stock rom mostly that should solve the issue

My dearest frend kamal ...I have readur post many times and I have seen you commenting in other thread as well that u don't recommend. Also all these imported handsets come with a FCC ID like all branded gsm handsets and also has IC like gsm handsets ...and these handsets have serial numbers ...which gives info about the make and region of the handsets What Dot is referring to r those handsets which have no IDs of any sort like the few one you see in Chinese mobiles So bottomline is don't b afriad to buy these imported cdma handsets

My dear kamal all these articles that've been posted coment about phones without imei there is no mention about CDMA handsets or phones with bad esns ....so y r u mentioning it again and again ...also as I have said earlier there is difference between bad esn and improper imei ... Also remember one thing DoT hve never been on their words ..... The reason why I'm mentioning this thing again and Again is that I don't want that a person who is plannin to buy these imported CDMA handsets gets intimidated unnecessarily....if v can't help them then let's not even scare them .... Yes push mail works on both 6800 and 6900... Also since I have used both mogul and htc touch lemme tell u one thing if u are a frequent texting person then typing messages or mails on htc touch virtual keyboard is a pain (even if u use third party keyboard still typing would b too slow )...though it is compact as compared to mogul ...also speed of both the phones is more or less the same ...only thing is u might b able to load more apps in ram at a time in htc touch than mogul In my case I had sold off my htc touch after just two weeks of usage .... U can go through ur priorities first and then decide accordingly

No foreign CDMA hnadset has been under DoT scanner till now...it's just a speculation by few members of this forum ....secondly no foreign CDMA handset will ever b banned for a simple reason that we all r using it with valid esn and imsi .....so pls stop spreading wrong notions ..... If foreign cdma handsrts r under DoT scanner can v have the source of information which says this

Make sure yOu haven't installed many apps on your phone memory....also if u have installed call rec check it's settings.....u can also use safeguard pro to determine trouble apps ..there are a few palm apps which have issues with treo755

well getting one for 380 euros....should b in my hand in one or two weeks

for ur budget htc mogul at present wud b the bset buy .......u can google for features ...u wont get warranty though but the official htc handsets which r available form reliance r costly and utter crap

my sify connection is completely down...... i m surviving on my vodafone connect ....but that also seems to b working quite slow

guys lets focuss on the problrm rather than discussing which topic to post where.... honestly speaking it is getting very irritating.....v r techies man ...so let discuss the solution to the problem ....posting issues shud b left to mods and admins ...lets focuss on gettin the prolem solved ....also lemme tell u this problem doesnt happen with all imported handsets ....but seen in treo specially i have tested both phones when out of town ...both were loaded with same prl ( diffrent connections of course) ...but treo755 had network issues when out of mumbai and mogul was working fine .....seems one needs to reactivate roaming

Just go for treo755p ...gr8 phone u can go thru threads for the same on the forum u will get an idea about it....only u won't get warranty on it....

I had this phone for trial purpose ....the phone is a cosmetic improvemnt over n95 with a tad bit of new features....but there seems to b a flaw (atleast in few units)the front keymat(set of keys surrounding dpad) is glued to the body of the phone....in my unit I cud see it seperatin ....which raises my concern over long term usage ....not only this unit but I found many early adopters having this problem after few days of hard usage ....worst part is defect like this aren't covered under warranty .... So my advice just check the keymat of the phone properly before buying even if the phone is boxed packed
