  2. dude china phones are not even proper pda's they r feature phones they dont have a proper os (proprietary os the details of which r unknown) ther only applications u can run on these china phones r the ones written in java n nothin else

samsung i900 omnia runs win mo 6.1 n in customisable to a gr8 extent and not to mention d horse power it has( 628 mhz 128mb ram 8gb on board storage capacitance touch screen and a beautiful biult and not 2 forget 5mp camera ) though i wud say they r overprices but then wait for omnias price to cum down and it will b one very good handset to buy if u like win mo

  3. LG KC780

LG KC780 is the next LG cameraphone that will have an 8 megapixel camera. While it's exciting to see yet another high-res cameraphone, it seems LG have not put a lot of effort in making its design stand out.

There are not many details about the LG KC780 now, but it seems genuine as it has already passed through the US FCC website. Among the little spec details we now is the LG KC780 will have quad-band GSM support, but unfortunately no 3G.big.jpg

  4. though i not a big fan of blackberry os stilll its nice to see them catchin up in the touchscreen race.

i have seen video preview of d earlier protos all i cansay though d device was fast but the touchscreen was not as responsive as iphone( storm uses presurre senitive screen and iphone works on capacitance screen which r highly reponsive)

but overall look a promising....but let see until d retail unit comes out

  5. Time Magazine wrote this article today:

"A new smartphone is debuting on Sept. 23, and, no, it's not just another iPhone clone. The HTC Dream from T-Mobile will be the first handset to run Google's new mobile operating system, Android. And while it won't look as sleek as the iPhone, it promises to give mobile-phone users a lot more freedom and flexibility.

Many of the Dream's features are under wraps until launch, but based on leaked photos and videos along with screenshots released by Google, we already have a pretty good idea of what to expect. The biggest departure from the iPhone design is the inclusion of a physical keyboard, which apparently slides out from underneath the Dream's touchscreen. The Dream will also allow users to run multiple applications at once and more easily share contacts and data between them. And if reports from developers TIME interviewed prove true, mobile-phone users will finally be able to cut and paste text in emails a function that's frustratingly absent on the iPhone. The Dream, which is expected to go on sale in late October, will also reportedly cost the same as the 3G: $199.

    Follow up:

The sweetest part of the Dream is the add-on applications available from the Android Market Google's answer to the Apple App Store. Whereas many Apple apps cost money (typically anywhere from $.99 to $9.99), at launch all Android Market apps will be free. That includes BreadCrumbz, a picture-based navigation program that doesn't just give you a drawing of your route, but also includes real-world photos to keep you on track. Another interesting app, TuneWiki, is a tricked-out music player that encourages mobile karaoke, by synchronizing written lyrics onscreen to the song's YouTube video. It also shows you what songs other TuneWiki users near you are listening to in real time. Since Android is better than the iPhone at running multiple programs at once, you won't have to choose between apps: As Breadcrumbz helps you find your way to a party, TuneWiki can play your favorite Rihanna video and get you in a groovy mood. When it's time to make a right turn, Breadcrumbz will cut in and alert you.

Android has several other key advantages over Apple. While Apple takes a top-down approach to app development the company must approve every app that makes it into its App Store Google will allow creators to upload any application to the Android Market without its review. Sure that means some duds will make it in, but it will also allow for a much more open and democratic way for favorites to evolve. Perhaps more significantly, users will not be limited to a single phone or carrier for long. While T-Mobile's HTC Dream will be the first phone to run Android, Google is inviting all carriers to develop handsets for the platform. Expect to see other compatible devices early next year.

Most of the Dream's other features are expected to go toe-to-toe with the iPhone, including built-in GPS, a tilt sensor for gaming, and a camera. What's more, T-Mobile recently expanded coverage for its 3G data network to 27 major cities. The faster bandwidth promises to make watching videos and downloading websites go smoothly, but if the spotty 3G coverage offered by AT&T for the iPhone is any indication, buyers should treat this promise with deep skepticism.

On the downside, don't expect the Dream to be anywhere near as slick and shiny as the iPhone. T-Mobile may be much loved among teens for its colorful, flip-screen Sidekick, but the HTC Dream will likely have a more staid look that lacks the iPhone's panache. Plus, no one can turn on the hype machine quite as well as Steve Jobs. But whatever the Dream may lack in flair, it's no less of a breakthrough when it comes to giving mobile-phone buyers more ways to connect on the go."

so guys today our dream device will b finally announced

  6. i cant undrestand y do u wanna pay more than15k to buya hnadset which is so obsolete in US ( 2oomhz processor 64md ram )..rather go for treo 755 brand new at mush reasonable rate and more powerful than p3000 .i wud also agree with others that u or any one else looking to buy htc handset from reliance better contact sadikk b4 buying those outdated n overpriced handsets fron relinace

  7. 256 ram is very sufficient just imagine how dis baby wud run with a 528 mhz processor and 288 md ram(32mb on processor for graphics and 256 for os).people who r suing htc pro have noticed considerable speedy os as compared to 192 md ram htc diamond.

one thing i like about dis device is the huge 3.8" screen which i havent seen in such a compact form factor

also d dimensions of this is similar to iphone so jus imagine u holding a phone as aleek as n iphone but with a 0.3" bigger screen and wvga resoltion and to top it all a 5mp cam!!!!!!!!!!!!

    definately an iphone killer( htc hd 115 x 62.8 x 12mm and iphone 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 mm

also by looiking at d amount of pics that r cumin out every day dis device is due launch next mnth

also as per official htc press dis device will b launched in 2008 4Q in europeand it other countreis following shortly it is also available for pre order on amazon.de for 620 euro

  8. then lets wait till diwali n see how big a hole it drills in our pockets

well it is understood that they shud drop d prices of lg voyager considering d lack of features it has

also as far as diamond goes...guys i had tried myfrends htc diamnond for 2 weeks and these were my impreseeions

1.the biggest usp of this device is its reolution..640*480 on a 2.8 screen so now imagine how crisp it wud b .watchin movies is a treat on this device but i wish they wud had put atleast a 3"screent(htc HD with 3.8" WVGA SCREEN d baap of all ppcs in terms of hardware)

.the device loooks very sleek n beautful.it got me a lot of attention when i had i

2.the so calld touch flo 3d(tfl3d as it is known)was not up to the mark.it was laggy n sluggish ..but i wud expect that from a winmo device.

3.after i installed custom roms from xda d device start performin nicely atleast thf3d improved

4.dont expect iphone type responsive touch screen as both devices are based ondifferent technologies.diamond uses pressure sensitive screen (although it is calibrated to match d responsiveness of a capacitance scren but still ).

4 altough for basic functions u wud not require stylus (tfl3d)takes care of it.

5.atleast in gsm d biggest problem was battery but i hope cdma variant cums wid 1300mah

the gps was fine it uses egps so it was fast .but comparable to my n95 with agps

6.overall i did like d looks and all but in case of functionality it kept me wanting for more .atleast my case i wud rather go for htc pro or d htc HD(definatley gettin dis one). but then again lets c if v cud get htc pro up n running on our networks either officially by relinace or by our saviur sadikk and rim geniuses in our forum
