Dont worry with HTC as with Motorola
just hook EVO View to workshop 2.7 , try sending samsung default password , as that also gives SPC many times directly on HTC
after making spc all 0 , just write nv file , if u have for reliance data settings , usually seller would provide u with that .

First and Foremost this is my post after a very long time , reason been i have been extremely busy in work , but this has always been my favorite forum for postings .
Up for sale is my own HTC EVO 3D , which i have used , its in super duper mint condition , no scratches , no dings , its as good as new

Phone works perfectly , only reason of sale is , my usual habit ( keeda) of buying new gadgets all the time .

Just go to mobile-files.us forum and there is method to read spc from 8530
Just connect 8530 to pc and run that software it will wipe OS and then connect your phone to workshop and dump memory and read sock or use qxdm and the.reload OS ...if you can do this you can save 4-5$ ...if you can't then buy spc from eBay ..

I dont think its the cable ....don't know why we blame cable
This is how I check for bad USB
-connect phone to PC ...if you hear a ding sound then USB is OK
- if you don't hear ding sound then phone USB is culprit

Is your epic just getting charged and not getting detected by pc ??
Get your Usb checked its possible that your micro Usb pins have blown out ( specifically line resposible to connect to PCB to pc )
I had same issue on one of my phones and i got it fixed
Go to manish market 1st floor and get micro Usb checked they will fix it in few hrs

Dont try restoring the NV Items ##786# without zeroing the ESN first and changing SCM, else your radio shall be bricked.
786 reset will not brick radio , but yes it will screw up your prl and make phone non writable in qpst
though it doesnt happen always
on HTC 786 reset should only be used as last resort when meid doesnt 0 out and scanning yields no new memory locations

Verizon phones dont support ##786#
##786# reset on verizon = hard reset you do from bootloader screen
but its same thing
it will not restore both meid and pesn
i used this reset when memory scanning used to fail and i had to get original meid back again

I once restored Incre's MEID thru hard reset!
Its only once a while that works , most of times it will restore either meid or pesn but never both
its been tried on lot of incredibles , never did it work on those

- Otterbox commuter case for 35 $ , got it absolutely free from otterbox as well
- TPU case worth 10$ paid through ebay bucks , so free again
- Neoprene pouch 5 $ also paid through ebay bucks , so free once more
So all in all 100$ worth of cases , for 0$ , absolutely free !!!!

Prl can be otafed , unless they keep it for pushing ,but they will not and u have to load in manually , all other evdo parameters will not be otafed
This is what is difference between Reliance and cdma operators in USA
in USA , entire MIP profiles , AAA/HA , can be otafed and is otafed in the users handset by network so that if user runs into any problems he can get settings back
