  1. Friends I would like to know how good ZTE Grand SII is? My mail requirements are: 1) CDMA both voice/data (3G) working. Data is mainly for WhatsApp. 2) GSM will be added advantage. 3) Update (if any) without any issue 4) Memory : 16/32/64GB inbuilt or SD. All apps should install on SD as internal memory might be 4gb or 8gb I am not very good in playing with Mobile Software so worried buying any unlocked handset. But, if you can suggest some good handset under 10k I might go for that besides that it fulfil my basic requirements and no issues of rooting etc.
  2. Thank you Sameer for your prompt & detailed reply. It's better not to waste money on known issue handset as it might give more problems as it gets older. I did not get any reply about ZTE Grand SII ? No one using this? Also, how good LAVA EG932? @Rohit : Thanks for suggesting HTC M8. Its too expensive and the price you suggested is for 2nd hand set. Also, I went through eBay listing where seller says DATA might not work for CDMA
  3. Thank you @KapilDev for your prompt reply. I just went through some review regarding M810 and it says there is only one major issue with the handset is that it gets warm/hot and drains battery very fast when warm/hot like iPhone. Is this true? and if yes than is it worth buying ? Last but not the least, is this phone only available online? Can I buy this from some store here in Chandigarh?
  4. Thanks @KapilDev Snapdeal tec-spec says its not CDMA...? Gionee Marathon M5 is way to high to buy. I am already stretching my pocket as I strongly feel I should not spend more than 10k (Max) on phone (CDMA). If I would have been using GSM I might not spent more than 5k. I just need to use phone as phone along Whatsapp as it's basic requirement as on date. And I am in love with CDMA, GSM does not stand anywhere near. Thanks anyway for your clear and prompt reply. - Regards
  5. Please suggest how good LAVA EG932? Should I go for this or suggest some good CDMA (Reliance) +GSM handset below 10k I just need followings: 1) Incoming & Outgoing (Calling) Good Quality 2) SMS 3) Whatsapp 4) SD Card support 5) 3G CDMA 6) Full sync including contacts between handset & PC I wish if the handset support saving all data to SD so that speed does not decrease with time. - Regards - Thanks in advance
  6. Friends I would like to know why should we stick to RIL/CDMA even having so many problems? 1) Poor or high cost Handsets; - I can not stop using Blue tooth but so far only Nokia6265 works well with it and the same has been discontinued? - Other then Nokia all handsets offer everything but basic easy to-the-point operations. - take example of blackberry handsets they cost around US$300 x 50 = INR 15,000 in US and cost around INR 45,000 in India? - Most of the handsets are available at webworld but RIL do not take any responsibility of handsets? 2) Poor Customer Care / After Sales Services; 3) Forced Advertisements - DND has been introduced long back in 2006 but of no use. I have registered DND in way back in 2006 and since then I requested many times to stop bothering me. But, still I am receiving advertisements from RIL itself. Moral is if we are not getting basic facilities then why should we continue using RIL/CDMA? I do not know this is possible or not or how many people agree with me. But I would like to have a service provider having following:- 1) Signals/Area/Coverage/Sound Quality like RIL; 2) Handsets like Nokia; 3) After Sales Support like Samsung; 4) Pricing/Offers like TATA.
  7. Poor Ril Cc

  8. Poor Ril Cc

Dear Sadikk, Thank you for upgrading me. Sorry but, for me RIL & RCOM are one of the same thing and I am talking about Reliance Mobiles. So, please stop advising like CC. Friends : I received 2 more e-mail asking foolish questions like to whom I have been contacting at what date time etc etc... I think its high time to retain Reliance Mobile anymore. So, sorry but Im leaving Reliance and switching over to Airtel. PS: in every e-mail I have been told that they (CC) unable to contact me on my mobile. And when I asked details of calls they gone mum HaHaHa. Anyhow, I still respect hardwork behind this great community but sorry as I am no more interested in Reliance Mobiles I left nothing to carry on here. But, I will keep visiting with hope and good wishes for this community
  9. Poor Ril Cc

  17. Friends I am looking for some CDMA handset for RIL (CDMA) I just require 3 things other options are added advantages :- 1) User Friendly as Nokia phones 2) Properly working Push to Talk Blue Tooth 3) Easy Speed Dialing Please suggest some handsets I could choose from. Please do not go as per specs and suggest tested once as specs might be fishy. Thanks in Advance
  18. Please Suggest Handset (cdma)

Mr. Rohit, I love to see the handset but, as suggested and R-GSM is coming to Punjab next month I want to wait and watch. Only after going through R-GSM I will decide to carry on with CDMA or switch over to GSM. Anyways, thank you for the offer. I love to be in touch with Good people like you so, I will call/meet you for sure.
  19. New Members Introduce Yourself Here!

Thank you for warm welcome I am obliged to be part of this fast growing healthy community.
  20. We will be having options to select from wide range of Handsets for sure but I an doubtful RIL can give any wonderful Tariff Plans in GSM due to TRAI Rules. But, we can expect wonders as when CDMA launched by RIL they ruled with facilities, coverage and better voice quality. I would like to see CDMA-cum -GSM option from RIL. If they can do it other players will be crying for sure. Let us see whats hiding in R-GSM and hope the best
  21. Friends yesterday I re-visited one of the web world in my city and I being told that no new CDMA Handset is going to come as R-GSM is coming and might be starting from 1st of Jan 2009. No other information is available right now. So, let us see whats going to come. And yes now the quality of R-CDMA is not that good as earlier
  22. Please Suggest Handset (cdma)

Nice to see all members are coming up and its Rock Solid Relationship I love you Guys Coming back to business. Than you Mr. Rohit, I will love to see the phone working. If possible please do let me know accessories and pricing available for the same. If everything suits not only I will go for it but there are many known to me will go for the same. Friends I can not explain how much excited I am looking for some suitable handset since past one year and at last with your help I might be able to live peacefully. Thank You Friends! Peace
  23. Please Suggest Handset (cdma)

Thank you for your concern and I just visited website of Treo. If I am wrong you must be suggesting Treo™ 755p (Sprint) ? If it is so I think this handset is available in US and Canada only. How it will work here in India with Reliance without any problem?
  24. Please Suggest Handset (cdma)

Friends first of all please cool down. Now I have started feeling that I am the culprit and why I started this thread. So, please forgive me. Otherwise, thanks for all your advises but let me come back to my original question (if I am allowed). I just want a basic phone with basic requirements as I mentioned above. I am least interested in multimedia, net connection etc etc. For me prime use of mobile is to talk and talk without any problem. The device should be easy to operate. I am an IT Pro since past 20 years and know inside-out of windows... As I mentioned above that I used so many handsets that I can not waste anymore money just to try something. I like HTC but again not easy to operate. Sorry to mention that most of the handsets available does almost everything but easy phoning. If RIL just come-up with simple Handset with easy Operations, Push to talk Blue tooth (Properly working), Good Battery life & Good Phone Book Memory I love to buy that instead of buying Good Multimedia, Net, Camera...etc. Now I have started feeling that either I should go for Nokia6265 or wait for R-GSM and in worst case I should move to GSM like Airtel. I know RIL is best in Network & Pricing but its not fulfilling my basic need I want to thank all my friends who devoted so much time writing for me. If someone please just suggest a phone for me (as I want) I will be highly obliged. I once again apologies for whatever I have written, if harmed/heart anyone in anyway. I have started this topic just to know if there is some product available and I am not aware about.
