  1. Similarly Vodophone also launched 1p/sec in MP/CG region right ... I just saw a big board in Raipur near JaiStambChowk... Good to see Biggies are responding to DoCoMo's 1p/sec plan...
  2. Battery capacity : 850mAh for a tri-SIM phone ???? A MAD JOKE...How much talk time .... Half an hour :'( , while say travelling in train??? (Since you said good for Business... Business men travel a lot, U know..)
  3. 1 Sec Postpaid Plan From Aircel

No DoCoMo already has post-paid plans for 1sec billing... Those tailor made plans with 3 to 10 toppings... If your calls lasts more than a min (even 50% of your calls) then this one second pulse is useless comparing the 30p/min and even 50p/min offer of Reliance... This 1 sec scheme is very useful for people who gives lots of missed calls to others, since they need not fear if others will attend their call, since they need to pay 1p only...
  4. 1 Sec Postpaid Plan From Aircel

But when it comes to roaming, RIM's plan blew Aircel away @ 50p/min for incoming/outgoing local/STD mobile/landline onnet/offnet calls and that too at 99Rs per month...
  5. Since it is offer of Airtel, you should expect those catches....
  6. VERY WRONG move by TATA INDICOM... I am a TataIndicom user for many years... I didnt expect this move from them... FAIR USAGE LIMIT on FREE calls is OK.. But for regular tariffs Just now reliance has offered 50p/min local/STD onnet/offnet roaming/home plan for Rs99/month... With 275Rs/Month and with FU limit for 50p/min, I think TataIndicom should be punished now anyway...
  7. Please see here telecomtalk.info and direct link is here
  8. "half Rate Tariff "in Tata Indicom

Best part here is the 12hour NIGHT time and that too 9PM to 9AM... And 25p Local & 75p STD @ night... Worst part is 1Re deduction each day... But still useful for many people working in other state, students and lovers...
  9. Very interesting figures Ramesh... ARPU of CDMA is Rs92 in JUNE quarter... Guess with TataIndicom's PayPerCall, MTS and Virgin's 50p STD and other schemes, what may be the ARPU of CDMA for SEPTEMBER quarter??? And for GSM its Rs185 in JUNE, and with schemes like 50p all over India (Airtel,Vodafone,Idea,Aircel) & pay per sec, WHAT MAY BE THE GSM ARPU for SEPTEMBER quarter??? OBSERVATIONS:- 1) SO ARPU of GSM is twice that of CDMA... THATz why Tata and Reliance are concentrating on GSM more than CDMA... 2) With Rs185 ARPU and >10 crore customers, Airtel gets revenue of >20.5 crores per day (Am sure Airtel's ARPU will be much higher than GSM average Rs185.. Further Airtel has high Data revenue, VAS, BlackBerry and other revenues too.. 3) May be MinutesOfUsage for SEPTEMBER quarter will get increased, due to above said offers..
  10. Similar scheme is here in TamilNadu and Karnataka... Rs52/- STV all local/STD to all mob/landline in India @50p for 1 month.. So Postpaid users of TamilNadu, Bihar,Jharkand, Karnataka are all FOOLS.... Since its like having postpaid plan of Rs52/month.. So the use of being on Postpaid scheme is :'(
  11. Reliance Gsm To Offer Std At 39 P/min

Please make it clear... Tariff valid for the 100 minutes only isn't it????
  12. Hey, COMMON MAN... Come On Man... You know the reasons....
  13. Nokia Cdma 7705 Twist

Of Course, I am also interested, as it is NOKIA... But it should work with Tata and with reasonable price tag.. Even Price is not a great thing, if it supports TATA CDMA Sims...
  14. All About Nokia 6265

Whether the Phone comes with AirPlane Mode or Offline Profile???
  15. Chinese Phone Could Ring Trouble

Ramesh... CHINESE phones are still imported (may be illegally, BUT that BLOODY thing cannot be stopped or Govt not in a mood to STOP).... BAN on chinese phones are like 3G, MNP, HighEnd NokiaCDMA phone, etc.... VARUUMM .. AANAAA VARAATHUUUU ... Will Come,,, But WONT COME...
  16. Brain Teasers

    64. RYTHM???? RYTHMS, ...
  17. Bsnl Introduces Per Second Billing

MTS and Aircel following DoCoMo's path is nothing surprising... But now, its a great achievement for DoCoMo.. Now one of the BIG-3 has followed DoCoMo's path ... Eager to see, what other two (Airtel and Vodaphone) will do???
  18. Now Pay Charges On Receiving Sms !

Even SMS incoming while international roaming is FREE almost all over world... BIG LOOTERS......
  19. Aircel is very kind towards its ORISSA customers... But why they are not in a mood to give this KIND offer to its very first circle TamilNadu??? Because ORISSA is its new circle and TN is not...
  20. So NO BOSSES are there in states other than Maharashtra+Goa and no BOSS for Mumbai also (as Mumbai not a part of Maharashtra Circle)...
  21. Dot Rings Mobile Number Portability

MNP and 3G in Indian Telecom is "VARUUM...... Aaana VARAATHHUUU...." (Tamil) Even "5L x C" is not enough for our central Ministers...
  22. This offer will be useful for college students, LOVERS, labors (when both are on different connection), mother-daughter in different states and would be couples... ALL ARE PRODUCING VERY LOW ARPU (Average Revenue Per User)... For business people, it is a BIG NO... They make more calls and not more than say 1-2 min average for each call.. But, as some one suggested, it can be used as a secondary phone... Say for example TataDOCOMO for small calls within a minute or half and TataINDICOM for LOOOONG calls (even with 10 min pulse)... OHHH God, WHAT AN IDEA???? (WICKED idea of-course)
  23. Tata Docomo Postpaid Plans

Have a doubt why Tata-Docomo is just giving 50 STD mins as top up . Is 50 STD mins = 150 Local mins ? Even if we calculate STS at 2p per sec, it should have been 75 STD min. Maybe the STD charges will still go up in future This implies that in near future, the STD tariff will be 3p/sec or a whooping Rs1.80/min...??
  24. Tata Docomo Launched

Well surely this situation will improve as time passes. Slowly they will be installing more cell sites in weak areas. Also since they are operating at 1800Mhz, more and more cell sites are required and I doubt whether they will be able to cover very remote areas. RCOM having close to 40K cell sites, Tata having close to 20K....imagine the time it will take to even meet the coverage of reliance CDMA...forget abt the big three (Indus Tower) even after so many years CDMA of TATA dont have good coverage outside cities You are right, TataIndicom is having very few OWN towers... But it has an agreement for TOWER-SHARING with Airtel (with a fee per month, of course).. So not a big issue for consumers... But I dont know about DoCoMo and we have to consider the fact that Indicom is using 800MHz band and DoCoMo is 1800MHz band, as told earlier by our friend...
