  1. Where is LOOP mobile (in circles except Mumbai) in this list ??? It is going on SOFT-LAUNCHING all over India, but VERY VERY SHYING to launch commercially .. First DoT should remove licensee (and spectrum) from the infinite_LOOP mobile .. Whatever may the criteria failed, atleast Uninor, Datacom, STel are launching commercially in few circles.. LOOP is the one who is WASTING the precious spectrum now in India ... Alliance_Infratech is LOOP or Etisalat_DB ???
  2. It will be very much helpful for ISD users, imho... BSNL has ITC cards with per second ISD billing... But throwing it to dustbin is much better than, using it on the pathetic CellOne service (while on move or away from home)... I am in Hope to use the ITC cards on TataIndicom where the network is good and ISD charge is much more (Rs12/min for Europe), after the agreement was done...
  3. WOW... Any similar procedure to do this for BSNL or Docomo in RoTN circle??? Please...
  4. NO SIR... Huwaei is Chinese-International-co.. Their products' quality will be not very bad.. But Videocon is rebranding the mobiles made by Ultra-Local-Chinese-Co (cottage Industries type ), just like G-Five, Micromax, Lemon, Spice and few other thousand mobile companies..
  5. I am alittle bit confused here... So 15p/min is IUC for Local calls and 20p/min is IUC for STD calls??? I have been thinking that IUC was 20p/min for Local calls and 30p/min for STD calls... Friends please explain this to me..
  6. Motorola Launches Droid Pro On Verizon

Everything is good.. The only bad thing I find is the NUM-KEYS layout like in computer and not in 3x3 grid like in BB or regular phones...
  7. Not only that, BSNL also gave FREE 3G SIM cards (to high value LandLine users) and 2G SIM (to anybody with proof even without LL or any BSNL connections) cards in Telephone Exchanges, saying "INDEPENDENCE DAY offer " throughout August.. In the month of September also we can expect great number of additions from BSNL.. Since now BSNL giving FREE SIM to LANDLINE customers (Prepaid as well as Postpaid, as per choice of customer) in which UNLIMITED FREE calls from mobile to that Landline was allowed (NOT for LL to mobile) for LIFETIME without any STV or rent or anything... The name of the scheme is "BSNL HOME UNLIMITED plan" and source is here.. But, what to do... With the current condition of BSNL, the SIM cards are worth for giving away as FREE only... This is the only way to avoid going behind Idea at least, in Total subscribers figure... BSNL sux here in Sivakasi (TN)... BSNL is using some special and amazing + mind-blowing technology in cellone service... At first the network strength will be FULL (7 bars), when you type a number press the call key, the number of bars will reduce suddenly to two or one.. Your call may NOT connect saying "Connection error" or "Network Busy".. If connected, the voice will be NEITHER clear NOR loud and number of bars will be ZERO and call will disconnect very shortly.. After the call gets disconnected, the signal bars will again reach FULL (7 bars) .. Amazing isn't it??? To check the voice quality (that doesn't exists really) of BSNL mobile, just try to tell a 16-digit number to anyone by BSNL mobile and TATA_Indicom/RCdma or any GSM operator (EXCEPT RGSM) for comparison.. When calling from BSNL, the hearing party will definitely note it wrong or needs to be told thrice.. -------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE, ONE REQUEST to KESAV Bhai.. Please Use LL (LandLine) to show WIRE-LINE info and MOB (Mobile) for wireless, as Wl and WL are confusing imho... Thanks..
  8. India 3G Auctions Winners

Hmmm.. Even Aircel is just expecting only 10% of its users using 3G, till END OF 2011... So 3G won't be cheaper till END OF 2011, even in Aircel, let alone Airtel/Vodafone/Idea... Or may be fake activations are NOT EASY as in 2G
  9. Ya... Same for me too...
  10. Mobile Phone Cheapest Price Sale on Future Bazaar

May be some "yet another chinese &hit phone"..
  11. Hmmm.. BB is behaving ridiculously ... They respond to Arab countries, but we Indians were taken for granted... They should be BANNED, even if they agreed to bring new server to India in later stage...
  12. I am NOT getting transaction detail SMS from TMB, but SMS from KVB is coming from 1-Oct atleast...
  13. Motorola Debuts First Dual SIM Phones In India

Also add the 930mAh battery to the list Raccoon bhai...
  14. MTS Onam Offer In Kerala

^^^^^ 1000 Local calls only or STD calls also included??? Even if only Local calls are allowed, this is a very nice booster card, imho...
  15. Hmmmm... Increase in IUC also possible, as 1) BSNL especially said it has lost about Rs2000 crores because of that.. 2) As 3G is coming near, with COSTLIER 3G and dirt-cheap 2G tariffs means, NOT many people will shift to 3G and of-course many will use dualSIM phones or simply carry two mobiles with low usage on 3G and high usage on 2G.. 3) The request for revision in IUC was given by NOT-SO-GOOD-CUSTOMER-CENTRIC-THUGS like Airtel+Vodafone+Idea+(current)RCom+BSNL and NOT new players like Docomo*Uninor*Videocon*MTS*Cheers*STel*Aircel... But if IUC was increased, then growth rate will decrease and many cost-conscious customers will throw away their SIMs, imho.. Further tariffs like 1p/2sec will stop to exist..
  16. Mobile Phone Sales At An All Time High

Exactly, my friend... G'Five has a model called E71, which looks 100% same (battery cover, size, camera compartment, keys layout, audio port, volume keys, SD+USB flap-cover, D-PAD, Dots on back metal-cover, I MEAN EVERY-EVERY-THING) as E71.. Even the Nokia's original BP-4L sits as comfortably in battery compartment.. But the cost of the handset is just Rs2500 .. Seems they somehow got the die-cast thrown as worn-out from NOKIA factories and they use for their products... If NOKIA didn't launch some good mid-end DualSIM (G+G and C+G ALSO) + DualStandby handsets (atleast at par with c3, E52, 3120c), they may even lose to G'Five, imho.. I have never dreamt that these rebranded chinese $hit phone manufactures are about to overtake SAMSUNG (who is NOT AT ALL hesitating to launch new products for all segments incl C+G handsets) now..
  17. All Local/STD calls @ 40p/min and roaming calls @ 60p/min... Very cheap offering for a MVNO operator, imho ...
  18. India 3G Auctions Winners

WHAT??? RCom doesn't have 3G spectrum in MUMBAI???? I have read in this same thread that Airtel, Vodafone and RCom has won 3G spectrum in Mumbai and Delhi circles along with MTNL
  19. VERY VERY TRUE my friend... +1 for you.. Biggies/Baddies earn more from their incoming calls, because even if one uses Dual-SIM phones with most outgoing calls going from new operators, the BIGGIES/BADDIES are earning much more than new operators.. For example, if you call Airtel from Uninor @ 29p/min, then Airtel gets 20p from Incoming and Uninor just gets 9p from Outgoing.. IUC for Local and STD should be reduced to anything below 10p/min... Surely that will reduce total turn-over of operators, but that will only help poor new operators from dying, imho..
  20. TataIndicom has launched "LOGISTICS 199" roaming plan in RoTN.. I have seen these in pamphlets in TataShowroom here in Sivakasi.. (Tariff still NOT updated in website too) Plan Details:- Rent Rs199 Local 30p/min STD 50p/min FREE CUG (No Rent) Roaming In/OutLocal/OutSTD 50p/min SMS Local/STD 50p 2000 ROAMING Incoming calls and 500 ROAMING Outgoing calls FREE
  21. SMS issues on Reliance GSM in Tamil Nadu

Till date I have no issues in sending 1p SMS from my RGsm number to other network numbers.. But I have not sent to any Airtel number till now... Have you tried sending SMS to other network numbers and faced similar issues??? If NOT, then that was problem from Airtel's side...
  22. BSNL Slashes 3G Data Pricing

Nice data tariff by BSNL... May be even challenging the current EV-DO data tariff of pvt operators... But we can never trust BSNL to full extend, as BSNL may increase the data tariff to level of private operators, once they start business.. They have earlier done similarly for "PER SECOND BILLING", when they gave 1p/sec onnet/offnet initially and increased offnet to 1.2p/sec, after airtel started giving per second tariff..
  23. It is NOT just the OS.. See the processor, RAM, even the PhoneMemory.. They are NOT AT ALL FIT for Android... OnTopic:- Airtel customers should buy this phone and use MTS/Tata/RCom/BSNL in other two numbers and avoid using Airtel for cheaper mobile bills...
