Yes, I had used Spice C-5300 CDMA handset. Poor handset.Capacity of the battery became low after 6 months, no good service center, reading phone book and reading data from memory card was a pain. I think Samsung CDMA mobiles are the best. My mother is using Samsung guru B559 handset - is the best base model CDMA handset for Rs. 2000/-. I think this handset is best suited for your mother as it has long talk time with jumbo battery, barring facility of unwanted calls from particular numbers , advanced mobile tracker - forgot about theft, emergency SMS facility - safe when feeling dizziness or facing some attacks , large display, large key pad numbers, loud ring tone volume, crystal clear ear piece sound, excellent signal reception, phone will not heat up during call, shape of the phone is very comfortable to hold in hand etc. You can see the reviews from our forum started by supernova here

One alternative - convert the video file in to a password proctected rar file using Winrar or similar software and write the file to a DVD (using 'make data DVD' option). Everyone can copy the DVD, but noone can open the file as it requires the given password

To play games like prince of persia, crysis etc you should use a mid range or higher end graphics card. I am using a mid range economical graphics card "XFX Radeon HD 6670". Dear friend Karthik, I mean they will terminate their CDMA business and this will not mean that service will be terminated. Remember the old days of Kerala, Escotel sold it's GSM service to Idea, BPL mobile sold their service to Hutch, a few months later Hutch sold the service to Vodafone. No harm happened to any customer except their service provider changed.

Friend srijaga_cbe, don't know whether it is OMH or not. Sellers are advertising that it can be used with Reliance and Tata CDMA services, so it is surely a network unlocked handset. Seeing it's specifications I think it is worth to buy. But compared to guru559 it has a lower capacity battery, ie 559 has 1300mAh battery while 539 has only 1000mAh battery. I think it is true. In Kerala RCDMA and Tata indicom are only dealing with EVDO data cards, they are even terminated 1x data card business, all reliance CDMA shops are now dealing with GSM products, all true value shops and true value hubs of tata indicom are closed, a few existing tata shops are converted to docomo 3G experience zones, no good bundled CDMA handsets are available in the mobile shops except the low cost models, no recharge coupons are available anywhere except a few shops in major cities that too Rs 10 & Rs 20 only, large coupons like Rs 50 & Rs 100 became extinct, no new CDMA tower, existing CDMA towers are loaded with GSM transceivers, no advertisement in media. But the consolatory thing is that new MTS stores are opening everywhere, they are doing good CDMA business.
