Thanks for the instant reply Rajan Bhai so both the seller offer only seller warranty and not original warranty is that right.Would it cause any harm of not having Dell warranty as this is for my sister I dont want her to have any hassles with this warranty problem.Again Thanks in advance for the help Both seller is offering seller warranty. Seller warranties for laptops are generally useless as most of them behind asterik & fine prints claim to provide software config issues warranty only. Even if they provide hardware failure warranty, it's difficult to believe they will be willing/able to procure the costly parts & bear the loss as they generally operate on low profit margins initially. How can anyone assure you that you won't have any hassles? When you buy with seller warranty, it's a tradeoff between getting better/higher specs product at a lower cost then official company warranty product and you bearing the warranty risk. You can't eat your cake and have it too! Ultimately it's a chance one takes on the probability whether there will be a hardware failure within 1 year as after that both official/seller warranty products are on same footing. Very True Rajan Bhai Company warranty/Seller Warranty/No warranty all are almost same as most products fail if they do only post warranty period so wont make big difference.Anyway thanks for the tradus link took the risk and plunge got the laptop for 38k after discount.Now lets hope we dont face hassles fingers crossed

The reviews I read all praised the shoes. Waiting for your confirmation Nitin if its good and genuine I shall order immediately

    Here people are suggesting what brand to go for I would say stay away from Su Kam pretty bad experience.Purchased a 650 VA Inverter from with their own brand of battery in 2010 and got the battery replaced in March this year even replaced battery doesnt last more than an hour and when I contact Sukam they say sorry sir battery warranty is over we cant help you when asked why doesnt your battery last even 8 months all they say is could be some problem with the battery maybe a cell got weak but since its out of warranty we cant help.So kindly stay away from Sukam go for Microtek or any other with Exide Tubular batteries.Heard even Usha is good.
  12. See as far as I see it I am guessing we will have another postponement on the cards so play wait and watch game.July 31st was the first target now October which in all probability go to Feb 2013 or even later who knows so wait and watch would be my suggestion

The Signal quality in Cable based STB is not that great as compared to DTH and even after getting STB from cable wala we are at his mercy as any failure at his end we end up loosing signal.In a city like Chennai wherein CAS was introduced long back people protested against STB saying why do we need to pay 200-300 rs for channels we dont watch while we are happy with cable wala's FTA Free to Air Channels paying 100 rs.This time will be interesting to see what happens as STB becomes mandatory.My guess just like MNP implementation will be postponed by another few months for some reason or other as Chennai and Kolkatta opposed its implementation in July I guess we shall be in for a repeat telecast
  18. that is the paradox.as usual, RCom does not give any benefit to its existing loyal customers, many of whom may have been interested if similar bundle offers were given to them. very few non-customers may be willing to take a new connection with a locked handset.so no one knows who RCom is targeting. The thing is this problem is inherent across operators/service providers they try to please new customers and rope them in rather than ensuring existing royal customers are happy and satisfied.I guess with existing customers these operators have a Chaltha hai attitude.

    I've been using the XT800 for 6 months now and have a really hard time with it - it took a long time to get my MS Exchange mails working on it since 2.1 does not support Exchange. Even after a lot of searching and discussing with the developers, I found that the community is not really inetrested in this model since it is obsolete. The only developers whoa re still working on it are chinese and that doesn't really help since thier forums and sites are all in chinese (even google translation doesnt really help much). The phone has a locked bootloader due to which rooting and custom OS flashing are a real pain - recovery files are not available, so you cannot flash a cyanogen or MUIU rom! the samsung is easier to root and overclock, so you'll get more bang for your buck is you go for that and actually need less time tweaking the phone to your needs. Btw, the XT800 is available for as less Rs.5500, look around a bit ;-) Omi where is this set available for Rs.5500.If its available at this rate I am interested.Any links where it is available at this price would be appreciated.
