    I just tried a SIM with series RECRUC06xxxxx, but it still did not show APN options. Are there other ways to ensure 3G if APN does not show? Also the upgraded SIM gives me 3G trouble when using with my Electrify M. Has anyone faced a similar issue?

    I haven't updated yet as have disabled the OTA update as Hitesh instructed. My query is how incremental is this 4.4.4 jump? Does it give a much improved experience or is it just cosmetic? Apparently the Dialer interface looks different. Can someone post a screengrab of it? To anyone who has updated, can you please give your inputs...

    Thanks Prihir/Aalok/Kalpesh/Chirag for your valuable inputs. Bought the 10400 mAh Ambrane PowerBank from Paytm for 1349/-. Will test once I receive but it says it will take 7-9 days Have never bought anything from Paytm so hoping its a smooth experience.

    Didn't know an alternative place to post this query. How does one receive a call waiting incoming call on the Razr M. I hear a beep & see the new call flashing but don'tt know how to receive it. Is it possible to put first call on hold (without disconnecting) as we receive the new call & go back to previous caller once done. Please share procedure for the same. Am on Jellybean default dialer app.

    Bought a Fujifilm Finepix X20 camera. Phenomenal image quality. Sturdy build & excellent manual control options. It has a max aperture of 2.8 running all the way upto 112mm zoom. Gives great flexibility in many shooting options especially in low light. Got a good deal so went for it. So far highly impressed

    Hi Saurabh, You can go for a Panasonic TH-L40B6D or the 1" smaller L39EM6D. I found the Panasonic TVs to have the best price to performance ratio. Better than Toshiba in my opinion. Both the above models can be bought for 38-40k. Since you are in Mumbai I can even suggest a good shop where you can get a good rate. LMK. -basu
  12. The 9 digit pin it is asking for is the number from a GSK (Get Started Kit) or from a HCC card. But that option only works once the MEID is registered. And the dump file step happens only after MEID registration which is closed as of now.

    Pls see the Tutorial threads created by Hitesh. Clear instructions are there to first root the phone, then using an app such as Titanium Backup you should freeze the Motorola OTA app which is responsible for downloading updates.

    Thanks Dipan for the suggestion but I need a one ear model. Not over-head-headphone style. Both ear designs blocks out all other sounds :-( Wouldn't a model from Jabra or Plantronics be the way to go?

    Hi, I need to change my plan as Reliance has been hiking rates for everything including the onnet packs. The above plan would suit me quite well. Is there anyway of getting this plan activated through a webworld without sending port out request (coz often they don't do a call back I hear).     1. Check whether Evdo is activated from Reliance end. 2. Follow the newbie-friendly guide to do data programming part. 3. Make sure you have correctly flashed the dump file. You can PM me for any clarifications as I have just completed the whole process. Everything works. Hitesh helps a lot of us so it must be difficult for him to address everyone's issues. I will try to help you at least check if you have followed the whole procedure correctly.

  24. Ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Also I noticed the data icons such as 3G & Wifi never turn blue.
  25. The EVDO has been activated from Reliance. However I get only about 0.5 to 0.65 Mbps on Speedtest from multiple locations. Is this normal or average in Mumbai or am I getting 1x only? Also even when data exchange occurs, I never get the upload/download arrows above the 3G symbol. Am attaching screenshot of my data enabled & running. Is the Icon supposed to revert to the 1x icon when 3G coverage is not there? Can other Moto G users please share their experience. Apart from this all working fine after following Hiteshji's THREE great tutorials. Thanks!
