what I did was as follows flashed latest radio zip from twrp recovery Updated to latest firmware 1.22.651 via the PGxxx.zip method from bootloader have been trying out all the 1.22.651.3 based rom's without any problem

that's what I did

hboot gets updated by OTA's , which will make it impossible to gain s-off later

I used lazy-panda s-off, and original spc got restored after this, so had to read spc again using ws....(guess you can also use msl reader to get spc )

But why miss the golden chance of acquiring s-off? Moreover it's nice to remember not to take an htc OTA without first getting s-off

flashed the latest radio 1.05.11.0606 from twrp recovery, now just need the flash a pre-rooted rom based on the latest OTA

s-off wipes everything... had to again do the whole thing like prl, min and dump, and yeah even spc got reset, so people without paid CDMA WS 3.8 beware

I have been switching between 2 of the most popular Android 4.0.4 leaks for our phone - AOKP and Cyanogenmod 9 - Though source is not released as yet, both these ROMs are awesome.......That being said you need to take extra care while switching between GB and CM9 based ICS roms on the Epic 4G Touch, DON'T flash anything from an ICS recovery, if you want to flash either of these roms, start from stock EL29 , then ODIN stock EL26 CWM tar (as this is the only recommended recovery to flash ICS leaks), reboot into EL26 CWM recovery (blue) and flash ROM followed by the latest Gapps

I was able to read MEID by inserting RUIM on a Samsung Corby

took the OTA, but moved on to CM9, based on 4.0.4, and loving it

you need above files with just the following content * * ' '

you need 2 files - pap.secrets and chap.secrets in /system/etc/ppp to get data working

Have tried almost all the custom roms on my 3VO which has hboot 1.5 unlocked by HTC method. Liked Olympus HD rom . There is no 3D or 3G on MIUI and CM7 on current builds which are mostly Alpha, though both roms are super fast and on 2.3.7

Can't understand why people want to go for a Verizon / Sprint IPhone 4S when you are never going to get DATA on them. Why not port number to any 3G GSM operator and enjoy unlocked IPhone 4S with DATA, Calls / SMS everything working

Even I have the same issue, good to see that at least I am not crazy! . I will try your method and revert back however youtube seems to be working fine with wifi. What firmware build are you on? P.S I tried all the methods like uninstalling youtube update and installing it back again. Restarting the phone. The list goes on.... But still it was of no use so quit using it over EVDO. Also while using EVDO the internet stops in the middle of your browsing session sporadically and you have to reconnect to access it. Do you face this issue too? I'm on stock 4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_6 and don't have any problems with evdo - the youtube workaround is working fine for me

I dunno if anyone else has faced problem of youtube not playing in cdma mode all the time. In my case I found a solution for this - switch to GSM / UMTS mode and then switch back to cdma mode, and youtube plays nicely in cdma mode. Hope this helps others too.
