Got my HTC desire 816DS repaired from HTC service center(Kohinoor city, Kurla) after 12 days. As per them, motherboard was found faulty and replaced. Phone was in warranty, so repaired free of charge. Now everything is working fine. Thanks for suggestions from all members. Saw lot of people with complain in HTC desire 820 model(call/Battery/hang). So people desirous of buying 820, please be careful.

Please suggest a branded desktop LED monitor of size 19 - 22 inch. Looking for HD/Full HD with response time max upto 5 mSec.Veiwing angle should be vide. Max budget is 7K Pls sugest some good deal. Thanks

I am planning to visit HTC service center tomorrow . But I want to tell that in same slot gsm sim data(hsdpa) is working fine. Problem is with cdma sim.

Even factory reset could not help.

Dear friends, I am using HTC desire 816 Dual sim since last 5 months but facing following issues since last 15 days 1. I am getting mostly 1X network and 1X data 2. Whenever I am getting EVDO network, after connecting to data it immediately switches to 1X again.(very few no of time it connects to evdo) 3. I am unable to connect call at any network. Takes too much time to connect.If connects, frequent call drop 4. SMS delivery is delayed(sometime hours) I have tried following 1. Checked my sim with another HTC desire 816 dual sim, and everything(mentioned above) worked fine. 2. Inserted my friends(evdo activated) nano RCDMA sim into my phone, and same problem occured again. 3. Have already reported the issue to Reliance customer care, and they are looking into the matter. Please suggest the possible fix. Thanks

Since last 1 week I am facing EVDO connectivity issue with my HTC desire 816 DS. When data is not connected, it shows 1X/evdo rev A/evdo rev B. but as soon as I connect the data it take some time(that usual) to connect ans switches to 1X. Not always connect to 1X, sometimes connect to evdo rev A too, but most of the time on 1X. Also, since last few days only, I am seeing Rev B signal in my area(Chembur, Mumbai) At the same time my Moto G is firm with EVDO A all time. please share the possible fixes. thanks

I have HTC desire 816D. Stay in Chembur-Mumbai. Till dec 2014 I was able to get Rev B speed but from Jan 2015 onwards I am unable to find Rev B network. Last week I could see Rev B(in setting>status) on Mumbai Airport but when I connected to data, it switched to Rev A. I doubt is it prl issue? Do I need special sim to get Rev B signal?

I also have HTC 816 DC. About 3 months ago, I used to connect Rev B in Mumbai (Chembur) area. After few weeks only Rev B vanished. Now no Rev B network in my area. So I can say that phone is actually Rev B compatible on reliance network tested.

Just saw an ad on OLX-Mumbai regarding LG-Tribute sale, with EVDO-Rev Band without any handsfree activation error and working hotspot. It indicates that it can be rooted. We may have to do some work on it OR XDA may help.

I do stay in Chembur. Approx 15 days back I was getting evdo Rev B network with speed upto 3.1 Mbps, but now I m getting only Rev A with speed upto 1.2 Mbps only. Also, few days back Reliance network got very weak and after contacting customer care through email it was restored to normal, but with lower net speed and Rev A only. Any update?

Is internet is required to operate with Chrome. As per my understanding, I can stream stuffs from my smartphone to LED Tv by switching on wifi of phone and chromecast. Am i right? If not please explain for the same case. I do not have internet connection at home.

You can try chat customer care and tell all the details. I got my evdo active through way only. Tell the executive that mention all the details you said, to the resolution team. Mostly your problem should be resolved.

Dear friends, I am facing a weird issue about EVDO in my HTC Desire 816. I got a new postpaid connection. Initially a temporary number was activated on my sim and i was told that after 48 hours my choice number will be activated. With temporary number, everything including EVDO worked fine, but when my choice number was activated yesterday i am unable to get EVDO. HSD to 55444 says EVDO already active on my number. Surprisingly when I selectt data on 1X only, I get dat in 1x mode, but when I select 1X/EVDO mode, I am unable to get niether 1X nor EVDO. Please suggest possible solutions. thanks

I do stay in chembur. Rev B is either not available here or I am getting less speed( upto 2.1 Mbps) with Rev B. I am using HTC Desire 816 with nano sim.
