I tested with Reliance ruim in Chennai both in htc desire and lg tribute. Neither worked

And I`m very sorry to say that @pradeep564 tried to make business out of this situation. Eventhough He came out of a similar situation as I am in, he asked me a "NOMINAL FEE" of 500 for unlocking..

Most probably this issue may occur if the kernel is still write protected. Please flash the below stock write protection removed kernel and try unlocking. Please note the below stock kernel has front camera issue. I`m very sad to say I`m still not able to unlock the phone. I`m stuck @ step 5. When I open Sim Unlock Helper and go to log and comeback, it just says start and nothing like Device Verified and all. Another thing--> even after pressing simunlock and waiting for few mins and coming back to log, the log file is empty only.. Someone please help..

I don't own any other cdma android.so i can't make that xml file by add apn method. I'm sorry that i couldn't understand you clearly.to make myself clear, what i usually do now before changing sims(eg from mts to Reliance) is by going to dfs and changing the apns so that data works with the new operator. With restoring your apn.xml, i don't need to do that anymore.am i correct?

Anybody using regular plan in their mobiles with Reliance, can you please confirm if you get rev B speeds??

Oh man!So,to some up for others, In mts, new "M1 OMH" series sims work while the old "M2" doesn`t. and in Reliance, old "RECRUC" works while the new "REGRUC" doesnt work. LOL.. why does CDMA Ops have to be so complicated.

Thanks to everyone. Another query: i bought a REGRUC series SIM from Reliance and it says "Invalid SIM".But the old RECRUC series work fine.does anyone else get the same issue and any probable solution??

Now, When trying to activate new no contract sprint phones with ting, i get message "Can not bring device to Ting. Device is not in good financial standing with Sprint."??? What to do? Can anyone help me to get the SPC??
