Haha! Got you! Well, i was actually wondering when the hell is reliance going to launch their netway services? When are we going to get a super fast ride down their 60,000KM long OFCs?? I had BIG expectations from Reliance when I took DAPO almost 3 years ago. But now at almost the end of 3 years, I dont see Reliance launching their "broadband" services. I was really hoping to get a 128Kbps / 256Kbps TRUELY UNLIMITED connection at an affordable price of 750-1000 bucksA 128Kbps / 256Kbps TRUELY UNLIMITED connection at an affordable price of 750-1000 bucks
Too much hope man

Perhaps the only wCDMA phone of India is Nokia 7600 but whisch operators allow you to exploit it's features to the full throttle?
-
Not free? Even for single user home user?
-
I'll let u know soon if there is any.

@racoon: I'm not fond of smallest installers, rather small updates are in vogue. Apart from that I want an a/v which is free and robust and doesn't increase my boot up time much.
-
Could you please be a bit more elaborate regarding the reason of writing to the Chairman's office and the redressal thereafter? ...and what score do you give usually?
-
Is wCDMA faster and more reliable than EDGE?

I don't think there is a better CD Cover designer than NERO!
I've been looking for Photostitch software from Canon but never found it on the web. I fear an updated version over my Installation CD may be available but could not found the same on the NET. Can anyone give me the URL?

I've been a loyal admirer of Grisoft and AVG7 is still my first choice. But, recently, the updates AVG get from the Grisoft have significantly increased the booting time for my PC. It also makes my start-up sound for Windows98SE to sound cracked due to excessive memory/cpu usage during loading Can anyone give me any idea, how to get rid of this without trimming my Start-Up music down? I'm open to any other A/V if it is trusted and tested by time! Please remember that I've a slow machine (Cel633 with 192MB on 810E).

Guys, just to inform you that every time I install USB 2.0 support in Windows98SE, I get severe recurring problems in my PC while connecting to R-Connect with Samsung SCH N-191 through USB cable. Please post if you've ever faced the same!

Hutch has been going through the route for over a year. Now, RIM is also asking that whether you are satisfied with the CC guy recently spoke to you? Ever happened to you guys?
-
Guys, do you know any site which offers good quality mp3 with at least 196kbps (preferably 320kbps) bitrate? BTW, Desitorrent is UP again

What is the ideal speed of the processor (if any) in the current handsets?
-
But I've heard wCDMA is better than CDMA1x with it's higher data transfer speed.

What do you mean by not quite an issue?

I'm with Rajan, RIL is cutting cost and they may also be thinking that ppl who are educated enough to browse the Web don't use their service

Thanks ARUN! Please keep us updated with all those you are cooking in your mind.

Never found such a thing in IE ever! I think Firefox honemoon is over guys!
-
Don't forget that GSM is much more widele spread and accepted by mst of the Indian cell users. GSM companies must be thankful to RIL for the same!

The problem with supporting a compressed format like MP3 is that you need a really fast processor to de-compress it in real time. I doubt if any of the current phones on RIM can decode a 100-200+ bitrate song. However most "can" support wave format because it doesnt have any compression... thats why they're so huge!True yaar!

Ever heard of Blu-ray Disk and Multi-layer Fluoroscent Disks? Do they operate on same principle?

All high-end phone users are usually from Metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad et al. So, it is quite normal with the network providers to restrict high-data-rate services limited to these areas.
May I ask you all to throw some light into the services may be offered by EVDO-ready CDMA network?
