There was a meeting held in Kerala circle today regarding 4G LTE upgrade. Kerala will be among the last few states to undergo up gradation. Source-a RCom employee Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Though I have a good understanding of RCom 4G upgrade process (thanks to this forum), I decided to check in at a Reliance Mobile store in Vashi Railway Station building , Navi Mumbai. The staff pounced on me and asked me to port to RGsm immediately as the CDMA services are going to stop on 25th April. I probed her about the kind of handsets supported by RCom 4g and the band/frequency on which it is launched but failed to get the answer. If this is the way they are handling this sensitive process, many CDMA customers will immediately port to Vodafone or Airtel. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

In that case, which are the smartphones currently available in Indian market ?

A soft launch in Metros is still a possibility as I found out in Mumbai that Reliance digital express staffs were undergone training on RJio services and many stores have CAFs and RJio SIM stocks.

Calling Jio the world's largest startup, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani on Wednesday said the roll-out of its 4G services will lift India from a mobile Internet ranking of 150th to the top 10 slot. But he did not specify the actual date of commercial launch.

Hi bro..I am using Infocus (CDMA)for last one month. I am not a heavy user as my office no is GSM..It has amazing looks and the body is metal built. Since you are a heavy user of data and voice, the phone tends to heat up after a while. As the body is metal, you don't feel comfortable to hold it. In my opinion any type of case will kill its premium looks. For an average user, the phone is ideal. I am lovin it.
-
All I can say is Infocus is not suitable for heavy users with its size and built.
-
Infocus has lots of bloat ware. Any means to uninstall them esp Facebook which is a giant battery drainer ?

Issue resolved finally..after trying *228 several times phone got activated..

Hi..bought Infocus M810..transferred my existing CDMA postpaid no to RECRU series Sim..not able to make calls..while calling my no from other phone, "the no is switched off" IVR is heard..contacted customer care and they say handset is not active. Asked to dial *228 and ignore pin request..account is showing active in their system. I have selected cellular network as CDMA/EVDO/4g auto on the handset ..Any advice pls ?
