  2. Verizon MOTO E 2015 XT1528 isn't unlocked for Indian GSM Bands I bought 3 of these phones (MOTO E Xt1528 verizon) but gsm doesn't work in India. I tried Airtel, Aircel, Idea, BSNL, Vodafone. None of sim card works Network App, 4G Lte Switch Apps doesn't work for Indian GSM The problem is only 850 MHz and 1900 MHz GSM bands are enabled on this phone as per specifications but Indian GSM carriers use 950 MHz and 1800 MHz GSM bands and for LTE all Indian carriers like Airtel use 2300 MHz (Band 40) I read on xda that GSM and LTE bands can be enabled on Qualcomm chips. I tried tools like QPST, DFS but none of them worked smoothly. I can guarantee that this verizon hardware is same as Global varients of MOTO E 2015 as all GSM bands are enabled on those varients Motorola doesn't allow bootloader unlocking for this xt1528 verizon version. I would like to know if anyone got succeed with Indian GSM carriers on this verizon MOTO E XT1528
