When is the process starting last date was given as 25 april

Any1 managed to activate the 4g @ ajit what is the status of your number i heard that once u get the 4g sim it can be activated withon 2 hrs by simple sms

As per the reliance i got the information that sim will be available on 25th Has one got hold of the same

Dear all gurus Please find some solution so that sprint phone latch on reliance lte with some mod Just checked with my sprint note 4 on airtel 4g it says the phone is in international mode and does not latch on 4g however in the gsm mode it does latch on to 3g So please find some mod so that our phones are not useless after we get the upgraded 4g sim

So everthing ok out of the box Data etc U talking about update this is which update please elaborate

Looking at the list and phones the fall back will be om gsm Definately an end to the rcdma saga One is thing is for sure now we will not have to search for good handsets

for sprint phones we have only settings as cdma , cdma/lte , gsm/umts, automatic 4G will not work on GSM it will take 3 G some one will have to find out a solution so that sprint phone will latch on lte mode of R com 4G

the tariffs are going to be the same as of 3G which are around the same of that of fraudTEL and FraudPhone I am totatlly happy with the CDMA EVDO speeds and tariffs on prepaid ( Rs 246 for 4 GB) I feel no operator is able to match this. I pray that this 4G upgrade should be a technological upgrade only and not the upgrade in Tariffs All CDMA subsribers should get the same existing tariffs till the 2021 till the time CDMA validity is there

and above this there is no official information floating on website or in newspaper

I hv got sprint note 4 which is hvg settings as cdma/lte as the preffered network which means the fall back or switch over is cdma when lte is not available I feel this is pretty much possible to have a fall back on cdma and reliance can cotinue with its cdma. Which is great when it comes to indoor penetration Dont know how well the jio or rcom 4g will perform in the indoor penetration quality

Both cdma and gsm will continue till the time all the users are converted and the network is stable Lets see what is stored for us in the coming next week My biggest worry is to able to use my sprint note 4 for rcom 4g I hope they deploy the same trick which sprint in usa deployed when upgrading to lte

I m Still confused the 4g sim Is it cdma lte or gsm lte Whether 4g sim will work on our cdma old handsets or the handsets needs to be Gsm Also what will happen if some one does not upgrade the cdma sim

Dont know what will be the fate of cdma but what ever it will be a disaster as we already know about reliance I am wondering what will be happened to the network quality in my home where the only network which penetrates deep indoors is rcdma Dont knw the behaviour of gsm 4g which is very bleak I m worried....with this change what ever it should be it should penetrate deep indoors

Very strange step from reliance cdma Over the years the network grew like anything there are n number of subscribers of the R cdma But they have behaved like a step mother for not introducing the good handsets exclusively for cdma users like the sprint and verizon in USA every newly launched handset is available in USA on cdma I remember haunting for good handsets but all in vain in the past thanks to the imported sets now we have good imported sets to use but now the network is going to close I just wonder what would have been the number of subscribers if the handsets were as per choice of customer not the company Reliance cdma should see this as an oppotunity to introduce redmi note 3 on its network officially so that the customers are attracted And we could use the great handset redmi note 3 with the no 1 network in voice clarity and data prices also great signal strength Reliance should tie up with xiaomi to manufacture handsets compatible to the cdma network May the handset would cost 1000 rs I dont know if there is any reliance official connected to rimweb and lostening to me

Thanks for the comprehensive review excellent phone But the bad news is not able to get data working on Reliance cdma This is the most important factor for me for choosing a cdma smartphone till the time cdma is alive Keeping fingers crossed hope someone finds a solution to this May be sending a mail to the mi support will help They might release some patch to get the data working It is their ball game and they would easily get a solution to it rather than we going for hit and trial method
