I ported to DOCOMO in pune yesterday, after lot of reliance complaints which were not resolved. I was charged 1.15rs/min on toll free numbers, and also being charged as roaming in home circle. So far DOCOMO seems to be better than rcom.

Reliance started charging me roaming in home circle. when raising a complaint they say you need to get a 4G device otherwise we can not help. When i dial a toll free number starting 1800 .. i am being charged on the home network. If a dial a local number they charge me 1.15 rs/min my phone connects to reliance and shows i am roaming. why type of telecom operator would charge a user as roaming in home circle. I am in pune and activated this number from here only. Reliance is so pathetic, I am submitting request to port out. all other who are thinking to port to rcom for using 4G, my suggestion is stay away from it.

4G is now working in Pune. It seems to be on same frequency band as Jio.

freecharge worked with 300 rs recharge, i got 325 balance. Recharge denomination are also updated on RCOM website now. MH Circle.

I was talking to customer care and I got this. Shivprasad : This data balance is promotional data balance. RS: when i will get 10 GB 4G data? Shivprasad : As per the details the 10GB data offer is discontinued. Hence you will not get the benefit of 10GB data. RS: how come its discontinued? It was part of 93 rs recharge while migration. Shivprasad : I do understand your concern. As per the company policy the offer is discontinued.

I am in Pune, using MOTO E 2nd GEN Verizon XT1528. This phone supports Band 5 on which reliance planned to launch 4G. Ever since i migrated to GSM from CDMA, the network shows Reliance 4G (since 1.5 month). On this only 2G works. Still when i scan network it does not show anything else which is actual 4G. I have no idea if phone's problem or there is no 4G network here in pune. Anyone else able to access Rcom 4G here? While on 2G i can also latch on Tata Docomo for Voice, data does not work in this case.

I have tried this long back. Enabled the band 40 in DFS. But the Airtel 4G sim could not catch the 4G signal, only 2G. Is kernel or other modification required to enable the band 40? As far as I know this phone does not support any of the 4G bands available in India, only hope that I have is 700MHz band which is still not in consideration by TRAI.

Hello this Hello This method is not working for me. After i change active profile to one. I clicked reset buttion in DFS and restarted the phone. however I do not get any option to add APN, it says APN is not available for this user. Please suggest what is missing here? thanks.

Hello I am new to cdma forum, please suggest what is bptools. if it is a software what is the best way to get it? If it is licensed whom I can approach to, to use for one time. Anyone who can help out me in Pune for this procedure .. thanks
