Can Htc Sprint Touchpro Be Upgraded To Windows 6.5?

Recommended Posts

Hi Technocrats!

I am having htc touchpro sourced from cellwala.com located at mumbai. I am using this phone but can not use this for the features for which i bought as not getting any assistance. I am unable to use its wifi feature nor this is synchronized with reliance so that i can send mails from this touch pro.

Can anybody on this forum help me in solving my above listed problems. Also can this be upgraded to windows mobile 6.5 ver

warm regards,

Sandeep Malviya

Both your queries have different answers. The second part has been answered by greatest. Please be a little more clear.

before installing any rom check its bootloader, is it compatible for upgrade ?

then you can install custom rom on it, also it may solve your problem like wifi and sync.

@malviyai

To enter bootloader mode to see version, with the device turned on, press and hold the volume down button along with the power button, then press the reset button hidden under your battery cover. if you think you will need three hands to do that, you could even try this.

With the device completely off (not just in sleep mode) press and hold the power and volume button till you see the tricolor screen.

A tricolor screen will be on your display showing all the details about the SPL.

Let us know what do you see there and we all could help you out with the further steps.

Sadikk bhai is quite busy with his work. I do agree that he needs to improve his after sales services, but still he is doing much more what his body allows him to do!

The way you have expressed your issues are quite vague. Kindly be more specific.

Please Thank if you like.

Will help me going!

well regardless of the operator u have , touch pro u are using on reliance /tata will already have hardspl

by checking bootloader , means it should be hard spl

since none of touch pro programming is possible without hard spl , its already done

so just head to ppcgeeks ad load rom , there are plenty

actually forget the term checking bootloader

its simple , all know it , all forums have it in bold

before u load any rom/radio u should have hspl on ur phone

to check hspl u have to get into bootloader mode , which hitesh is saying

but since touch pro / diamond / tp2 all are programed for reliance / tata

the first step is to load hspl only , unless u have directly given tata ur meid only
