Purchased the Latest Nikon DSLR 3100 on October 1st.A great entry level camera at affordable cost.

IMHO,It the best DSLR Available in Market for beginners.

I shall share the experience and a detailed review soon.

I considering a Canon EOS 550D / Rebel T2i.

Congrats on the purchase....this surely is a nice DSLR...am also thinking of getting one...but I'm more inclined towards Canon...thinking of getting a Canon 1000D right now...will buy better one in future when my photography skills are improved :D

My previous Cam was Canon. I am totally satisfied with the performance. Soon, Canon 1000D will be replaced with latest model. The entry level DSLR competition is heating up. If u are stickd with canon, u can wait and the wait will definitely worth. All D best ..dude

Yes, 18-55 lens. I am planning for an upgrade to 70 -200 zoom

Well I'm hearing form past 3 months that Canon will announce a new model to replace 1000D...and this deferring the purchase...but now I can't control myself...
