Seems to be some confusion regarding this as a SYMBIAN OS Phone...

The AKAI website product page for this model nowhere mentions Symbian... http://www.gbes.asia...php?pd=mp&id=46

Moreover the PC Suite bundled with this is for typical chinese phones and Not Nokia Type. Chipset is also MTK.

Images of PC Suite in the following PDF File from the Akai Site for "Connect Book As A Modem" also looks like for typical chinese phone and not Symbian OS... confused.gif

2G phone above Rs. 5000. Totally unacceptable....

Dear manufacturers, don't dumb your outdated 2G models in Indian soil. India is already in 3G and will surely be in 4G by end of this year.

the price does not bother me as much as the lack of simple features like flash for the camera.

is it tri-band for roaming abroad?

user interface will also make a big difference...

2G phone above Rs. 5000. Totally unacceptable....
