Can I Transfer My Number From One State To Another State?

hii guys i m shifting from Karnataka to Andhra .so can transfer my Reliance Mobile GSM Prepaid number to another state??is it possible? did anyone do it?

As far as i know it is not possible for any operator not only for Reliance.

No.. You can't change it to another State.. MNP will allow only intra-state/paired circles(like Chennai &Tamilnadu) portability .

No. at current date, you cannot. there is proposal for the same. but it is long way to go as Telcos will not allow it that easily. we know how they have made mockery of MNP.

our forum member Deepak Jain has taken transfer he has free incoming calls from his state too and his no is more or less in local state - you can ask him he is better person to ask

Dr sir, I think he has transferred the tariff-plan from one state to other state (postpaid plan 499 R2R UL FREE) which was discontinued many months back in that state...

couple of my friends who are in defence services use this plan

"My Truly Unlimited Onnet @ Rs. 995 per month"

Yes, Rs499 for home usage only plan and 999 or 995 (depends on circle I think) gives this benefit also in roaming...

Strictly speaking the delimiter is not a state but a circle.

Sir, Don't think delimiter is circle because we can change number from chennai to tn and vice versa...

These are paired circles, so mobility is allowed.
