Here is an awesome live wall paper for our S3's . The water level changes with the battery level. Been using it for a few days now.

Was trying to install sygic on my phone today when i discovered that in our S3's due to some stupidities by either samsung ( most likely) or due to google we dont have the ability to install any app or its data on the Ext sd card. Well 16gb does not sound much when you want to download some big games or some offline maps.

I could discover 2 ways of fixing it but not sure which is the best one. Has any one tried a fix for this , Which is the better method??

I am not able to call or sms contacts saved with +91 . If saved starting 0 then no problem.

Is anybody else facing same on S3 cdma. Any solution ?

This is common problem on imported phones. U can use number fixer app to convert all +91 to 0. If at all u need all numbers in international format, store in 0091 format. This way, calls n SMS would work fine n all ur problem solved...

Can someone one please confirm if call conference works on this beast. If not please try this method and check as it gives me an error that call cannot be added.

@ Hitesh bhai never knew you too had sprint version of s3 or would had consulted you first.

@ Aalok mate i am using reliance cdma and yes cc works on htc and most of the motos if not all.

@ Parin bro looking at your post tht it works with big red version I was optimistic about sprint variant.

Seems like will have to flash cm10 at a later stage.

Sprint Galaxy S3 : New update L710VPLI3: NO JB but update of ICS

Dowload it from here if you have not got the update on your phone:

http://android.clien....LG8_to_LI3.zip

If you are like me Stock and rooted you can install it like i did without loosing root

1. Install OTA Rootkeeper from the playstore.

2. Open the app and select the option to backup root

3. Download the update to your sd card

4. Boot into recovery ( Volume up + Home+ Power button)

5. Install the update

6. Once the phone reboots, Open OTA rootkeeper and reinstall root and voila your root is preserved.

Has anybody updated with the OTA. Both me and Vinod are having issues with our EVDO post update, but my problems started only 1 day after doing the update. Has anybody else had any issues???

Doc I was keen to update it however with experience i have learnt to watch patiently before applying it.

Sorry to hear about your and vinod's issue however I didn't find anything adverse comments about this update over the Internet. Please keep us posted about this issue.

I have reverted back to LG8 Z using modem flasher. Still the same. I'm planning to clear the NVRAM and reprogram the phone again. That is if my wifey allows me tonight hehe.
