    I don't understand why some common and basic telephony features are so much hard-to-achieve features in android e.g. call conference, call divert or call recording. Cheap and basic handsets available in the market possess these as default features. In the process of call conferencing I'm going to spend more, so what is the problem of android developers in it? Steadier features are expected in newer versions, but jellybean is lacking features which were there in ICS or GB. This is strange!

    I'm on stock and not rooted. Updated with latest JB. Ever since I have this update I'm facing a few problems: 1. Call conference does not work. 2. Gmail crashes many times on the background and crash notification gets displayed on screen while on other applications. While this notification is getting displayed, other applications freeze. 3. Dolphin browser also crashes. Are these problems of the applications on JB?

    Watched Life of Pi in 3D at Big Cinema. It was vivid. It made me nostalgic about Puducherry, its Indian Coffee House etc. I had been to this charming city 7 times just because of its beauty. Its an amazing movie although I didn't like some unnatural scenes like the sweet-water well/pond in the island whose water turns acidic and fluorescent in night.

    Tried it. Thanks. However, it fails to install Bengali even after repeated try. Hindi works fine. Can anybody help me to install Bengali? I think there is some problem in Bengali IME.
  15. Are screen protectors required at all on gorilla glass? I've never used one on my Fascinate which I'm using everyday for more than two long years, but not a single usage mark is there on the screen. So, I've decided to do away with any kind of screen protector on my S3 too, and it doing fine without any issues.

    May I suggest a tad addition in statutory declaration in the sell posts? Software is as important as the hardware. So, I opine there should be a point for OS description of the handsets (mostly mobile phones are offered for sale I presume). The seller must describe which OS the handset is currently in; whether in stock or any modifications have brought into it. Whether any other software modifications have been carried out e.g. rooting and custom ROM in android. And there may be a subsection which will cover software lacunae, if any.

  23. MTS is going to take part in the ensuing auction for their revenue-generating circles. They are doing away with the non profit making and yet-to-be launched circles like Orissa or Punjab. I was confident about our circle (Rest of WB) and Kolkata as this is the circle which ranked first in revenue generation thrice in last 4 years. I knew if MTS was there, it surely will be present in out circle. But it's not a good news that it will not be present pan-India. But post NTP, the entire scenario will change of course. There will be major change in tariff structure, I think.
  24. Today is the last day of continuous operation in 10 circles. After 23rd March there will be no signal of MTS in these circles. MTS is taking usual one month for phasing out its services in 10 circles. Mobile subscribers can port out, but the data users has no option but to exhaust the usage/balance and look for respite elsewhere.
