    limited functionality You cannot use music in background. EVDO works with OMH sim.Battery backup is good. best price in market is Rs.5200 which is still high
  6. Ordered unversal blooth headset for Rs.299 from Tradus under dealsbazaar on 8th oct. Seller is innovationworldwide, INNOVATIONS WORLDWIDE. Seller has shipped Vox bluetooth without box instead of universal brand. When checked neither blooth nor headset is working. Tradus did not respond to my multiple mails .When contacted over phone and waiting for 30 minutes, They arranged for reverse pick up.After checking the item they will initiate the refund.amlost 5 days past but till now no update Strange thing is same universal bluetooth is still available for same deal price from same seller.( he has around 50% negative feedback).Dont know why tradus keeps such sellers. Request all to be be careful why buying from tradus and check sellers reputation before placing order

There is no logic behind implementation of STB .Govt wants to know the exact number of subscribers to plug the loopholes and avoid loss of revenues due to greedy cable walas who are misquoting the number far below the actual figure. And also broadcasters will get benefitted and their revenue increases. But for all this why should consumer pay??????????
  10. Yes ! some time back cable guy installed SD settop box for demo for 1 week. My observation is picture is sharper and clear without Settop box( if cable guy provides good signal quality). In my case i found better quality without settop box. with settop box You get more channels with uniform quality but less sharpness.but most of the generally viewed 70 channels are good quality without Settop box.other channels no one views.There is absolutely no necessity for common man for settop box. So I feel so called COMPULSARY DIGITISATION is purely for the benefit of govt at the expense of common man. May be with HD settop box we get good picture quality.But cost of HD box is for cable is Rs.6500 upwards.common man cannot afford it. Any observations by other tech gurus ???

  12. In Hyderbad though there is no cumpusory immediately ,but I want to go for HD settop box for hathway cable. Cable guy is saying Rs.6500 for the same. I felt cost too much when compared to SD Settopox(Rs.1100) and any dish TV HD.who are charging from Rs.2000 to Rs.2800 Is Senario is same in all the cities ?.Has anyone tried HD Settop box for their cable connection ?.Pls post your feedback.

    In my area also BSNL people are telling not to go for BSNL evdo or 3G.There is no coverage Why are they discouraging usage of bsnl services ?
  14. Dear Aaolk, MTag has no DUN profile showing in blue tooth profiles Can we use any application to include DUN Profile and use internet on pc or are there any settings to enable DUN profile

Yes aalokji before you replied I Tried below I replaced APN with #777 USer id with MDN Password with MDN Prompt password with #777 in NEW APN and saved IT WORKED and EVDO already activated now worked great , can view youtube videos Actually I remembered few years back In spice dual sim handset i input settings similarly and it worked I dont know weather the phone is rooted or not looking at your above post mentioned that Data working without rooting I tried above When I bought this Mtag today for Rs.3200.Though it was unlocked data was not working and seller told that data will not work. Then I called Dr.Faramroze and he gave confidence that data can be made to work with rooting which is not difficult and he even offered me to guide in the evening and suggested me to go through aalok ji's tutorial also once. with great trust in our RIMweb forum support I bought the MTag and I could easily make it to work with RCDMA. Acually I am not that much techi. But this forum gave me enough knowledge and most importantly confidence that RIMGURUS are there to extend support I sincerely thank to Dr.Faramrozeji and aalokji i

Dear aalok, Purchased unlocked Mtag 3.1 today . working voice with Reliance Data working with MTS Its has dafault MTS APN settings New APN setting for rcdma can be added and save option is available.
