^^^ Custom roms are available in XDA, I am using / testing codyf86 experimental ROM, none of custom ROM can be and will be fully stable. So stick to stock only. Custom ROM are not for everyone. Evey 2nd day updates are thrown that too 250+ mb. Right now you can try same codyf86 experimental ROM on xda.

  13. [Tutorial] Update Boost Moto G to 5.0.2 [lollipop]

You need to fully wipe your phone before installation. This happens when data is not wiped. You are talking about the soak test or the stable final rollout? Yes, the final rollout? Did it start? Final roll out won't happen , as Motorola will be pushing 5.1 soon.
  14. Finally got WiFi tether working on Boost Moto G. For this we require following things. 1- rooted Boost Moto G 2- SQL lite editor installed. ( its paid app . but there are ways to get it free ) To root your phone, you can follow my bootloader unlock thread in Motorola section. Now ones you are rooted and ready with SQL lite editor installed. Open SQL lite editor and grant root access. Then scroll down to OMADMClient_Sprint_Data service Then you will see OMADM.db Select it. Then below screen will come Select first option runtime data After than you will see list of entries like below. Look for tether option and select edit from top pen button. After clicking edit . change 1 to 0 as shown in below screenshot. To Then just click save and reboot the phone. And default WiFi tether will work !! Sent by Moto G on Reliance CDMA

  19. Guess What's in the box !

Here are few more pics Its my shoe box PC with below configuration 1- Atom 1.6ghz with Nvidia ION chip set 2- 1TB HDD 3-few GB of RAM 4- normal SMPS All fitted in a shoe box [emoji12] Actually wanted to buy itx cabinet , but cost of good itx cabinet is approx 3-4 k. Dont want to spend that much for 1kg metal box. So decided to do something by my self. Didn't had time to design and fabricate custom box. So one day saw a shoe box laying around. And was perfect fit for minimum requirement for my rig. This is just an amateur PC box. Sent from my XT1031

  23. [Tutorial] Update Boost Moto G to 5.0.2 [lollipop]

@mcnu, yes you can but only without updating modem and boot loader. If you wish to update including modem. Then you need to flash 4.4.4 modem updator then 5.0.2 modem updator. If done with modem updator you need to do prl and dump again. For all you need custom recovery. Sent from my XT1031
  24. [Tutorial] Update Boost Moto G to 5.0.2 [lollipop]
