Any update for SMS solution for Kit Kat.

Its a patch for SMS issue on HTC One Dual CDMA SIM compatible with Kit Kat. Earlier one was not compatible with Kit Kat. If someone gets latest patch installed please post your feedback as I have to travel one side 140 KM to get that Patch. Service centre nearby needs handset for 15 days as its only in a collection centre. To be in Indian market HTC should increase its customer service centre or should focus over OTA updates.

New update is available with HTC Service Centre.

Restart / switch off creates problem. So best way is to avoid them. HTC really high tech handset.

Had word with HTC as per them sms patch available was compatible with Icecream. They are working on a new patch for Kit Kat which will be available in a week probably OTA.

There is a strange problem if I reboot / switch phone normally I face SMS problem. If switch on by using volume down and power button then just reboot then I receive SMS. Pls help.

Nitin did they install kit kat on ur phone after fix or before fix. are u mostly in Evdo signal or 1x

I got it done today in chandigarh. After updation 4 hrs again facing same problem. Did reset but again problem.

I Did. Actually they are just reinstalling same software. I did it when I faced this problems in Sept-Oct Pls check version after updating. I did reset yesterday around 5 PM as mentioned above started receiving SMS received last SMS till 730 AM today. Didn't installed any application. Only default apps got updated. Pls help. Is there any way to divert to previous version as I was receiving SMS before up gradation to Kit kat.

I did reset after one week again same problem. Did reset sms worked. After one hour again sms problem. Pls help.

After updation I am unable to receive sms on RCDMA. Earlier was able to receive after *228. Pls help.

In Punjab many times for RGSM SIM I get TATA DoCoMo Signal

Dial *228 for CDMA do not cut call even u don't hear anything wait for phone to restart. It will resolve all SMS issues

I changed my UIM. on earlier UIM EVDO was working. Did *228 again on LG Reliance Branded handset. UIM activated. Then Send SMS HSD to 55444 got msg HSD is already active on my number but still unable to connect EVDO. Any method to deactivate EVDO and activate EVDO again. If anyone can give details to do it on ICARE it will be a great help as local WWE will help to do same.

Actually you never faced that issue because in Delhi they have EVDO in max area where as I have areas with EVDO as well as 1X

I too got this update. It resolved the Network Name for Reliance CDMA and SMS problem with RCDMA.

Probably Its working for connections with single number on 1 CAF and not for those with multiple numbers

1GB for Rs 94 is no longer available. But it can be activated on special approvals and depends on how you follow up.
