  1. Am already a fan of TataDoCoMo on FB and got registered my number yesterday... Doing TopUp for Rs990/- today... This is the first time in my life, I am doing non-FullTT TopUp My only hesitation is I am already having Rs1592 as Balance in DoCoMo number and it will jump to about Rs3500 on doing so, beating my BSNL prepaid number balance of Rs3200/- of mine and my wife number's Rs3365... OMG, we have 10k balance for secondary mobile numbers (TataCDMA postpaid is our main numbers).. I am thinking of connecting that DoCoMo number (with Rs89 juiceUp---1p/2sec for 3 months)to my EPABX system so that everyone in my ofiice can make use of it, instead of using all other numbers...
  2. Reliance SMS Blackout Days

RCom has become too much unpredictable nowadays... Can't find whether they are hero or villan??? May be a comedy piece also...
  3. Hmmmm.... Guessing the possibilities... One can set "The customer you are calling is currently NOT REACHABLE" or "Please check the number and TRY AGAIN" or "Dial Code does NOT exists", if he has got soo many loans from others... Another use is "PLEASE CALL ME ON MY NEW NUMBER xxxxxaaaaa, as I stopped using RGsm due to BAD voice clarity" to use the CRBT to inform the CHANGE OF NUMBER to the callers... (MNP may come or may NOT come, GOD only knows... But this method will be fool-proof, imho..)
  4. I have one 160gb hard disk (IDE 7200rpm). It has some 16kb of bad sectors. But still working good. It is useless for me now as I have got one sata HDD now. If anybody wants that, I will send it when I reach my home (after 2 weeks) Sent from my EPIC 4G using Tapatalk
  5. 3G Phones Below Rs 10,000-Cdma And Gsm

Rajan ji... Only list those phones within 10k, please.. In 11 to 15k many more choices are there to list out and they will surely come to below 10k category AFTER SOME time, imho.. When they reach below 10k price, then you can add them to the list... Till then, let those >10k phones wait for you...
  6. BSNL WiMAX Review

Whether the BSNL WiMAX (or other like Tikona) can be accessed via EPIC or EVO which are also WiMax handsets?? Anybody in Trivandrum tried that??? Sorry.. If details posted already...
  7. Motorola Atrix 4G-The Monster

WOwww.... Dual Core Processor 960x540 Pixels 1 GB RAM 16 GB inBuilt Memory + MicroSD HSPA+ HD Video Recording video calling camera 1930 mAh battery ALL AT JUST 11 mm Thin, 136 Gram Weight The spec which I LOVE MOST IS THE JUMBO BATTERY of 1930mAh...
  8. Samsung Fascinate Now Official With Reliance

So $urpr!ses on EV-DO also possible in RCdma??? Then RCdma users have very good reason to NEVER care about MNP... I always wonder how come TATA has NO loophole at all (except the very very small one, we all know)...???
  9. Nokia 1508/1508i Cdma ?

    Very correct suggestion, imho...
  10. Nokia 1508/1508i Cdma ?

I have seen this mobile few months back in TATA TVS, but not seen nowadays..
  11. Samsung Fascinate Now Official With Reliance

I wonder whether TATA may bring any such Android phone in return??? See the fate of we Indians... Though TATA has good EV-DO/HSIA data (comparing RCom) plans in mobile/tethering usage such as 1GB for Rs300 (I am using this one) and 256MB for Rs100, they have very very limited EV-DO handset options... In RCDMA case, this is in reverse...
  12. Kamal Bhai... Congrats... You are a great inspiration to me.. To be honest, after seeing your humour sense (LATEST examples throwing light, MahaYagna, Bakra) in your posts only, I got guts to post replies that makes other to laugh a lot at our worries... Infact your posts removes the fear and initial inhibition of newbies and encourage them to participate... And I LOVE your avatar and it is simply the best and very very suitable for you... Me being a late night bird like you earlier, wonder How I missed this important thread??? As Rajan bhai has pointed out I may be concentrating less on some sub-forums.. Also thanks to Rajan bhai too...
  13. It is NOT just OS buddy... They (NOKIA) are doing blunder mistakes in almost all segments... No doubt, they have tooo many loyal customers, who look for nothing other than Nokia few years back (incl me)... But they failed to deliver the customers requirment for soooo long.. If they corrected their mistakes either it will be TOO LITTLE and/or TOO LATE In lower end, they are NOT launching (still this day) DualSIM handsets... They have lost too many low-end customers here... After muchh mooore waiting they launched c1 --- which would be much better if they didn't launched... Then they are saying that C2 is coming, coming, coming.... But EVEN MNP HAS ARRIVED, C2 IS NOT AT ALL COMING... And for few (still a good number of) users me included, C2 after MNP is NOT AT ALL NEEDED... In the MID-END they have bought Symbian... To be honest, Symbian is a good and powerful OS.. If they didn't bought Symbian, surely Samsung, SE would not have abandoned it.. They have done much damage to symbian than developing it, especially in TOUCH VERSION OF SERIES60.. oh... Thats another rant for another day.. Let me continue other points.. In high end, they lost the wow factor, like one exp on N95 times... All their latest flagships are UNDER-POWERED wrt hardware specs incl critical ones like RAM (Remember N97 problems)... Their upcoming Enterprise flagship is E7... 1. It has great 4.3" AMOLED screen --- But has small resolution 2. As business device it has barcode and biz-card scanner??? No the 8MPx cam is NOT-AUTOFOCUS 3. BIG screen good for movie watching???? It has NO card slot and (1200mAh) small battery 4. KeyBoard is good --- NO seperate number keys as in EPIC or E90 5. Has USB-On-The-Go feature and Mini-HDMI port --- BUT DOESN'T COMES WITH CABLE FOR THAT 6. Phone is SLIM --- NOT AN EXCUSE FOR NON-USER_REMOVABLE-SMALL-BATTERY Maemo was GOOD, but they disappointed buyers of N900 with cr@ppy res!stive screen.. As if it is NOT ebough, they have ditched Maemo and saying "WE ARE COMING WITH MEEGO"... Whether MEEGO is coming in right time???? A BIGGG NOOOO... Atleast they should have used Android for stop-gap atleast.. Android single-handedly helped MANY SINKING SHIPS (like earlier SE, MOTO, etc) to reach the shore.. But NOKIA is ready to sink than going for Android.... And in CDMA arena, even many people are ready to give 7k for OLD and OUTDATED 6275... But I WILL NOT EVEN COMMENT ABOUT THEIR BIGGEST CDMA BLUNDERS HERE...
  14. I think IDC has calculated "all those CHINESE PHONES" sold in India as G-Five...
  15. Samsung Duo 169 W169 Dual Sim Phone

Seen this handset in TATA TVS, handset is OMH... The only problem is 1000mAh battery.. Duos259 has 1140mAh battery and better looking than this one, imho...
  16. Samsung Fascinate Now Official With Reliance

26k is a GOOD price imho, for an official high end Android handset from RCom, means FASCINATE with EV-DO WORKING... It comes with FroYo or Eclair HP sir???
  17. I agree GFive is going strong with second position in India and other stuffs.. But their main plus as well as minus is the CLONED DualSIM HANDSETS... GFive E71 is a clone of E71.. Similarly for BB devices and so many phones...
  18. Yes friends, you are reading it right... The Special Recharge of Rs24 gives Lowest Tariff benefit of 1p/2sec for LOCAL as well as STD calls, for a period of 30 days.. This is offer of TN circle DoCoMo 2G customers and friends in other circle please confirm with your CC... I have confirmed this by calling CC from my DoCoMo number and this tariff is available till 15th Jan 2011 only... Link:- Here after selecting TN as Circle PS:- Sorry Mods.. Out of over-excitement, I have posted in TataIndicom section, instead of TataDoCoMo section.. Please move this Topic to there, please... (I have already REPORTed myself, by pressing the Report button)
  19. Telcos Join Hands To Offer 3G Services

I dont think Tata and Aircel will bring competition in 3G, especially wrt data.. Tata will keep 3G rates at same level of EV-DO... We can expect reduction in 3G data tariff from Tata only when EV-DO tariffs are reduced, which is NOT AT ALL going to happen anytime soon, imho...
  20. TATA Indicom - SMS Issue for Android

4 Hours of Standby with 30 minutes of talking???? Must change his battery...
  21. The Most Awaited MNP Finally Introduced!

One important point is there... $urprise d@ta packs...
  22. May be because only vodafone has got 3g license for both mumbai and mah. They are too confident that high end customers won't go away from them Sent from my EPIC 4G using Tapatalk
  23. BSNL has done yet another blunder (in RoTN) yesterday (25-12-2010).. Well, being an SMS black out day, we can expect SMS being charged at base tariff. But yesterday all STVs didn't work for BSNL (65STV for Local BSNL 10p/min and 54STV for Local BSNL 1p/3sec), means calls to BSNL are charged @ base tariff of 49p/min and NOT 10p/min. May be from Dec2010, BSNL has started STV black-out days too, because in Diwali those STVs worked (Tested and VERY VERY SURE).. And those STVs started working from today morning, that's why Further on calling the CC yesterday (9400024365) I got "Please check the number and try again" sort of error.. May be "CCE BLACK OUT DAY also ".. But to be honest, CCE in BSNL is almost non-existence any-day, so doesn't make any huge difference here... But I have to admit one thing now.. BSNL is amazing nowadays.. I first thought their team don't use their brain (for both good and bad).. Hmmm.. At-least now, they started using it , but for bad things.. Kamaal Hai BSNL.. 1) NEW STV Black-out day scheme 2) NEW CCE Black-out day scheme BADIYAA HAI... No doubts.. Other operators will SURELY follow this in coming days...
  24. Christmas 2010 Black-Out Day For BSNL

BSNL actually charges on base tariff on black out days. For example in my "EN NANBAN" plan, sms cost is 10p only and I was charged just 10p for sms on black out days. But airtel charges minimum of Rs. 1 for each sms sent on sms black out days. So no doubt, Airtel is pioneer in these kind of activities... But the bad news is that even BSNL is following the rotten foot steps of Airtel Sent from my EPIC 4G using Tapatalk
