    hi all Need ur help for rooting my nexus one. i am a noob in this. i have just rooted epic that too by the help and guidance of fellow rimwebians. i searched for the rooting methods but which ever method i found is too much complicated and just go over my head. i am on 2.3.4 and the only way i found was this http://nd1razor.blogspot.com/2011/07/how-to-root-android-234-nexus-one.html but it also have complications as discussed in the comment section in the link. Is there any one click root method as there was in epic or any other method???. i want to flash this rom http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=995445. also i need guidance for doing this. i am a noob in this and not at all good with all these stuff. so guys please help as u always do. sorry if i posted this at wrong place and request mods to shift it at its right place. But for a noob like me its too much complicated. i have done this stuff with my epic but its was very easy. here there are numerous downloadlinks. i just dont know what to do with them.which one to download. i am on 2.3.4 right now. in epic i used odin, will it work for my nexus one if yes should i follow the same procedure??. can some help me with this.

  9. hi i want your suggestions for buying android phones. i need two phones one to gift and another for me. 1. i need a android with in 10k. i have read other posts and i think dell xcd35 is the best. any other ph better than xcd35 with in my budget???? and any review of this dell xcd35. other options that i have in my mind are Samsung galaxy fit, galaxy pop.. 2.i need a android ph with a budget around 15k. i was looking forward for motorola defy. i had read a lot of good reviews about this ph and its specs are also good. its available for 14k+ at letsbuy after using discount coupon.but today one of the local retailer told me that motorola is going to shut down. and after sale service is very bad. another option i am keeping is lg optimus black p970 available at letsbuy for 18789/- after discount coupon. its better than defy in specs. and it also have nova display. i hv a bad kind of experience with lg but it was quite some time back. if its quality is good i can spend that much. even these ph are also there in almost same price range and almost same specs Samsung Galaxy S GT Black I9003,Samsung Google Nexus S which one do you guys suggest any other ph with my price range. as u guys always help me plz do it this time also.... thanks Pulkit

    at 12k its worth buying. best option at this price. i bought same for 14.7k the very same day u started this topic. @dr.faramroze it may be a outdated ph but runs on the latest android and will keep getting the updates first always. 1gz processor, 512mb ROM, 512mb ram. i don't think u will get a ph with these specs even with a budget of 15k. and there is not much difference in the latest phones and nexus1. except a front cam(not a very much needed thing), increased ram and memory(always have a option for memory card).

    i Bought few things in last couple of weeks. 1. Toshiba Satellite C Series C660-I5010 For Rs. 21080.00 and also Get Free 12 months McAfee AntiVirus Plus subscription Worth Rs. 1,040 thanks to rohan_4ever20.i even got laptop bag and a mouse with the laptop by trying i lil trick.( i read in a reviews at flipkart from a person that he got bag and mouse free with the lappy so i mailed them that i also want that bag nd mouse and its a part of offer from them and luckily i got both.i got its ram upgraded by 2gb for 850/-. laptop is absolute vfm. 2.samsung galaxy s2 i bought this one for a friend used it for approx two days. i can just say what a ph best. display is awesome. lightest ph. very fast. i wish if i could buy one for me. 3. htc google nexus1. bought for around 14.7k from ebay. the seller took almost 5 days to ship the ph. it wasnt a sealed pack box as said by the seller but it was new and box pack everything inside was sealed pack. ph is very good but after using s2 for 2 days nexus1 looks like a dabba. ph was on 2.2 but i got 2.3.4 update just after 20 mins i switched it on.(best part of this ph latest updates ). battery backup not good. and i also not happy with the display.

  15. its clearly mentioned in the listing its cdma. also its mentioned verison so its got to be cdma only. i dont think its a good deal the ph is locked, if u know the unlocking nd programming part then its ok otherwise i will suggest you to buy from our forum members. i think sadikk bhai is selling this handset for 5k(a better option)
  16. @rajan ji i hv read ur that post earlier nd suggested him the same but my friend can not wait for that much long time. so finally i ordered s2 at 28180/- from letsbuy for him. i bought that 10% off coupon from ebay which i posted nd it worked so got a dis of 2819/- so final cost 30499-2819+500= 28180/-.

    specs of nexus one shows 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 3G Network HSDPA 1700 / 2100 / 900 according to this 3g should work here in india rest have wait nd watch.
  19. if qwerty keyboard is not a prob i think blackberry bold 9650 or tour 9630 will fulfill your requirements. good battery backup, rich feel handset nd not at all bulky. rest most of the cdma phones today come with qwerty keypad.
