Will these charges be same for RMW PPP or RNC PPP?

For mobile internet default plan of zero rental is available for Samsung Galaxy POP i559. 50 paise/MB + 5 paise/10KB (as NUC) = Rs.5.50/MB Isn't it incredible that RCOM is not offering any data based plan for mobile internet...!

I guess L1 is Rworld plan which is very costly. If you tick use packet data option in Mobile Networks ( Wireless setting ) then all usage will be billed against Rworld plan. But for android phone, in my opininon, RCOM should provide Access Point Name settings for mobile internet usage. RCOm has listed similar settings for Windows mobile on its website. Sir, APN settings do not work. Required settings are : Name of setting: ? PPP number : ? ( I guess this would be #777) Username : ? ( mobile number without zero may be) Passwd : ? ( mobile number without zero) Authentication type :? (None/PAP/CHAP/PAP or CHAP) Proxy :? Port :? Data bearer :? MCC:? MNC:? RCOM does not provide these settings. In absence of these settings usage will be billed against Rworld plan which is exensive. Even though Netconnect plan for mobile usage is activated, in absence of APN settings billing will be against Rworld plan. got it today in 2 days hats offfffffff ....grt work

I have checked RCOM website. They have provided APN ( Access point name) & Internet settings for Windows Mobiles. But in my opinion they are yet to device & configure APN settings for Android phones. In last 10 days of my interaction with RCOM, nobody has come up with APN settings for Android. I have verified on global sites for CDMA & Android combination. Operators do provide APN settings. Will update if I get any communication from RCOM.

@ Sh Dinesh, Sir, plan may not be falling under Windows mobile category but I have been charged its rental for my usage. RCOM has yet to give me reply.

I am using Samsung i559 and having similar problem. When I ticked use packet data option, my entire usage on phone & tethering has been billed under Rworld usage. Although I have been charged for data plan there is no usage of single KB. I have taken up this issue with RCOm nodal officer & still in fight.

Hi, I have been using Samsung SCH i559. I had opted for Windows mobile broadband plan RNC_NetConnect_500MB_2. I was told by CC that I will be getting 500MB of data usage free & Rs 2/MB then onwards. In June's bill I was at surprise to that entire my usage had been billed to Rworld plan which is Rs 5/MB with no discount. CC, Floor Managar, Technical Team & Nodal officers have been informed & I am fighting for last seven days. But RCOM has so far been unable to come up with solution. I would like to ask members whether they are knowing APN settings for Galaxy POP for CDMA?
