  13. Vaishno Devi Helicopter Service & Other Queries

Helicopter service is really time saving for the yatra. I think it hardly takes 7 minutes from Katra to Sanjhichat. I visit Vaishno Devi every year and prefer to walk upto the Bhavan.....ab bhai wajan bhi toh ghataana hai....toh paidal yatra karne mein he samajhdaari hai (sirf merey liye) Patnitop is a great & peaceful place if you are planning to visit with your PATNI. If you want to catch the train at 2 pm from Jammu then you should leave Patnitop by 8 a.m. It will take a minimum of 4.5 to 5 hours to reach Jammu via Udhampur from Patnitop.
  14. It is mentioned in the specifications of the motherboard that only DDR2 is supported. If any friend of yours have spare DDR3 then why don't give it a try before ordering the same ?
  15. I don't think DDR3 could work with your motherboard. Your motherboard supports only : 667MHz DDR2 800MHz DDR2 1066MHz DDR2 1200MHz DDR2 (limited support)

BSNL launches Aakash-killer tablet for Rs. 3,250 – Pantel’s T-Pad IS 71 Low-cost tablet from BSNL and Pantel Technologies looks to take on the Aakash by offering better specifications at pretty much the same price point. And with its HDMI port, it could make a really handy media player! BSNL, the state-owned telecom giant, has launched a new tablet in India that wants to take the failing Aakash tablet head-on. Noida-based company Pantel Technologies was tapped to produce the T-Pad IS 710r and it’s priced at just Rs. 3,250, or $66 approximately – a fraction above the $50 Aakash. The Penta T-Pad IS 710r is similar to the Aakash in most aspects. Of course, we are comparing it here with the upgraded version of the Aakash, Datawind’s UbiSlate 7+, and not the original Aakash. Pantel’s tablet has a faster 1GHz processor and a VGA camera, but doesn’t come with a SIM card slot for GPRS connectivity. Running on Google Android v2.3 Gingerbread, the device is equipped with Wi-Fi support and a 7-inch resistive touchscreen. It does offer an added HDMI port to connect it to your TV though. And it can play back HD videos, including the MKV file format, making it a kickass media player at just Rs. 250 more than the Aakash. The tablet is currently available for pre-booking online: Book the Penta T-Pad IS710r Here’s a full comparison of the new Penta T-Pad IS 710r with the UbiSlate 7+ as well as the original Aakash tablets: Two More Tablets BSNL also launched two more low-cost tablets in association with Pantel – the T-Pad WS 704C and the T-Pad WS 802C. Here are their full specifications as well as the prices: You can pre-order both tablets now at the official site: Book the Penta T-Pad WS 704C Book the Penta T-Pad WS 802C The Aakash project itself will be getting an upgrade soon, with the government already having announced the Aakash 2 – and it’ll be for the same price, HRD Minister Kapil Sibal has said. The project has been mired in a lot of controversies recently. Courtesy : Phonemantra

  19. Gmail, Yahoo! Will Be Asked To Route Mails Via Indian Servers Move comes after govt agencies face issues accessing terror email sent from a Europe-based account. After pacifying the country with statements about not censoring social networking content, the government has decided to divert its attention to email communication instead. Reports suggest that Department of Information Technology (DIT) will now ask email service providers such as Yahoo! and Gmail, along with others to route all emails accessed in India through servers based in the country, even if the said mail account is registered outside. The move comes after security agencies failed to get real-time access to some emails, because the accounts had been registered outside India. In a high-level meeting held at the Union Home Secretary RK Singh's office, the Director General from CERT-in, India's cyber community noted that Yahoo! automatically relocates all email accounts registered in the country to its servers in India. However, this does not apply for emails from accounts registered outside the country. Earlier, security agencies were unable to access email accounts of suspected terrorists belonging to the terrorist outfitIndian Mujahideen during investigations, because they had been registered in a European country. When the required permissions to view these mails in question were asked, the content provider said that a request would have to be made with the European nation where the server was situated. While censoring tweets and status updates is absurd, this does seem like something that the defence requires, taking into account the gravity of the security situation. On the flip side though, how comfortable would you be, knowing that the government goes through all your email communication? Do let us know through your comments. Courtesy : Techtree
