  14. Yes, I have faced the same thing. As per UPS my shipment showed 2 lb. but SnS assessed it at 2.36 lb so that they can charge high. I wrote a mail to Hassan today morning, but no response yet.

They will charge you for volumetric weight if they can so make sure your package dimensions are less, it doesn't matter how much your package weight, when they are charging for volumetric weight... So that's not SNS fault.. 2. They provide you custom charge receipt, so Again it's not SNS fault, it's Delhi custom at fault.. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk As far as I know, SnS does not charge on volumetric weight. They don't consider the size of the box, but the actual weight....
  17. Did you opt for ppobox insurance service? It is valid from the time ur package reaches their us hub to the time it is delivered to you. If yes, then you can claim insurance to the value you declared in invoice..
  18. Yes it will be shipped tomorrow only and you will get tracking details later in evening around 9:30 pm or so. Or you can call them around 8:00 and ask for tracking details..

  20. Trying to figure out myself. Last time when I told the Blue Dart guy that I want to open and check, he didn't allow. He said it is not open box delivery and asked me to contact the sender.He was ready to take the package back without delivery but did not allow me to open it..
  21. You will get the invoice by Monday afternoon... Blue dart with PPObox does not have open box delivery. They will not allow you to open the package. Just make sure that the package is not tampered.

No bro, pls don't opt for comGateway(although the fault is not with them), but because they only use DHL & FedEx, which both of them rip you off(I had a horrific experience with DHL, which you can read in this thread only and other member complained about FedEx too couple of pages back, pls read that). Unless, you have some free money laying around & don't know what to do with it and just want to donate to poor customs officials... lol, yeah then you can proceed with the above combination. Otherwise just stay way at least for now. Hmm. Thanks for your suggestion bro and your experience really makes me scared now. Will keep this is mind in future. However, I have been using HSG for quite sometime now and touch wood haven't had any bad experience with them. I like them for their quick shipping and delivery so I get my phones in 5 days. For me the shipments get cleared from Bangalore customs as they ship directly without and re-routing. Maybe that might be working for me. But, really appreciate your concern and making us aware of the same. Cheers bro
