  1. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

You need to port out from Reliance 4G to RGSM (3G) immediately - that too before 16th August 2016. After 16th you will not be able to port out for 90 days. Once you port to RGSM, you can choose either Postpaid or Prepaid as per your choice. RGSM plans are still far better than Reliance 4G plans.
  2. Reliance 4G/LTE Network Speed

Reason: JIO needs only LTE network connectivity for voice and data whereas RCOM depends on 2G/3G network for voice. So even if RCOM is connected to 4G/LTE (Shared Network with JIO) still it will not be able to fulfill voice calls since RCOM 2G/3G network is not synchronized with 4G network of JIO. If someone tries your number - you will be out of reach. though you are connected to 4G network using JIO's shared tower, which is very BAD.
  3. Reliance 4G/LTE Network Speed

Rcom's the so called traditional network for voice call is very poor. Jio VoLTE quality is very good. though still have some connectivity issues with other networks. Rcom PAN India coverage is good <-> so is Jio now. Rcom 850MHz Band is plus <-> Now the same is also available for Jio users. Pricing - Reliance has SHOCKED every CDMA user - People have great expectations from Jio's commercial launch. So Jio has a upper hand since VoLTE will provide better quality as well as better connectivity indoors using 850Mhz Band for voice too. Reliance 2G/3G is very bad in case of indoor connectivity as well as voice quality.
  4. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

Did you try using 4G data or make call and see whether it is being deducted from promo or core balance? Do you have Instacare App installed - is the balance showing there? or Did you check *111*1*3# or MBAL to 55333 Is the promo balance showing while dialing *367# or *367*1# Update: I also recharged and got a receipt but the status in the transaction History shows FAILED & the explanation for 'FAILED' is given below as : FAILED - Selected price-point is unavailable for recharge. Amount deducted will be credited to your account within 7 working days. We regret the inconvenience caused. Seems it is valid for ONLY those who upgraded but did not recharge anything.
  5. Nice to hear that you are now able to use it.
  6. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

Reliance 4G ₹97 Recahrge NOW AVAILABLE through Instacare & myservices too. Offer details: 150 Minutes for Local & STD calls + 1GB 3G/2G + 43200 Minutes of Local & STD onnet Calls + 10GB 4G data for 30 days. Had anybody Tried ?
  7. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

I am not aware of any such agreement - AFAIK Rcom decided to share its 800MHz CDMA band by converting it to 850Mhz LTE with Jio. While sharing network RJio cannot impose technological restriction over Rcom. Even Airtel & Vodafone is planning to introduce VoLTE in their network. 8. Should have one USB/ micro usb port to connect to PC. COM port (serial port) was used in older days & now USB (Universal serial bus) is the common port used instead AFAIK.
  9. need help with iphone 5c hotspot

Are you able to connect and browse in LTE mode using your handset? (I mean data working in 4G mode) If yes then try to reset APN settings. You need to delete the default APN and re-enter Reliance APN which should be as follows: Name: rcomnet APN: rcomnet APN type: default MCC: (see table below for value related to your circle) MNC: (see table below for value related to your circle) APN enable/disable (should be enabled) Don't change anything else. Reliance (RCom) Circle Wise MCC & MNC Codes Telecom Circle MCC MNC Andhra Pradesh (including Telangana)...............405 01 Assam.................................................................404 09 Bihar (including Jharkhand)................................405 03 Chennai..............................................................405 04 Delhi Metro & NCR..............................................405 05 Gujarat................................................................405 06 Haryana..............................................................405 07 Himachal Pradesh...............................................405 08 Jammu & Kashmir................................................405 09 Karnataka...........................................................405 10 Kerala.................................................................405 11 Kolkata Metro......................................................405 12 Madhya Pradesh (including Chhattisgarh)..........405 14 Maharashtra (including Goa)..............................405 13 Mumbai Metro.....................................................405 15 North East...........................................................404 50 Odisha................................................................405 17 Punjab................................................................405 18 Rajasthan...........................................................405 19 Tamil Nadu..........................................................405 20 Uttar Pradesh East.............................................405 21 Uttar Pradesh West (including Uttarakhand)......405 22 West Bengal.......................................................405 23 Now save and enable this APN. Reboot your phone and now you’ll be able to connect to the internet & tether too.
  10. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Rcom 2G/3G Network is very poor everywhere. At my place though 2g (EDGE) is still OK but 3G is really pathetic. But 4G is very good - since CDMA was very good in my area. Let's hope that Reliance may start support for VoLTE as the towers (LTE Network) are already designed to handle VoLTE (Since same network is being shared with Jio with VoLTE). But Reliance still does not have VoLTE back-end support for connectivity. If they upgrade their 4G Network with VoLTE support - they may survive the competition.
  11. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Its always like that - Tariff difference in different circle is because of the behavior/capacity/consumption of the consumer (Marketing policy) and not just Reliance but all Telecom operators do the same.
  12. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

MoviNet offer available in all circles : Link http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/rworld/HTML/movienet.html But No 4G - mentioned as 3G Pack - (will have to find out with the CC) Prepaid Monthly Plan (Mumbai & Delhi have 4GB for ₹325 and 3.25GB for ₹275 option) FRC with talk plan Tariff
  13. You have two options: 1.Go to LYF service center and tell them to set the imei to your default imei (the one which is present in your Box) - the new imei might not be in the Jio database since it is replace motherboard. 2.You can wait and see if the new (replacement) imei gets updated in the Jio's database and your sim will starts working.
  14. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

As people are porting out and not recharging any 4G Pack - Reliance woke up and started calling its users. I have been receiving frequent calls too.
  15. Should compare the IMEI mentioned on the box/sticker on handset with the imei in the about (Android).
  16. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

This had happened before also and is a temporary phase - will get fixed in a few days.
  17. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

So at present Vodafone seems the better choice for 3G/4G as their network is also good.
  18. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

No. (Because Reliance is treating 3G data and 4G data as separate pools - means if you connect in 3G/H+ mode the balance will be deducted from 3G pool whereas if you connect in 4G/LTE mode the balance will be deducted from 4G pool, reason why you are not being able to use 4G though it is showing connected) N.B. Vodafone treats 3G/4G data as common so you can use in either mode. Reliance might remove this restriction once 4G is commercially launched for its 3G GSM customers (seems they are trying to keep away the GSM 3G users from using 4G at the moment and we are also suffering)
  19. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Seems they are cautious about their reputation internationally too.
  20. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

You can't. 4G will only be available if you recharge with any of the 4G PACK.
  21. AIRCOM ?

    9Mbps is - Very good indeed !
  22. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

Send SMS MBAL to 55333 (for mobile). Send SMS BBAL <10 digit data card no.> to 53535 from any Reliance mobile (for Data card).
