I mean any brand phone.

I doubt... Can a phone having voice recorder be used for recording in and out calls? RCOM site shows two models- K1M and Nokia 2505 as having this feature. and K1M has expandable memory.

In CDMA handsets their are very less models available for unlimited recording of incoming and outgoing calls. But in GSM their are a number of handsets available for this feature.

My dear friends, you can check the newly introduced Motorola W362 also. As this handset supports voice recording and has expandable memory, so it might record unlimited voice calls. But I'm not 100% sure.

For further details check this LINK.

So can it be used as call recorder by installing applications like we do in symbian?

I have nokia 9300 which is a symbian 80 phone if I am correct. Is there a free download of voice recorder for it where I can record all the incoming and outgoing conversations.

K1M do not have call recorder, it has voice recorder.

LG had 6230 model and said to be working well but now not available. Also in all phones there is no automatic recording. Therefore I bought treo 700P and using with callrec, unlimited, good quality incoming / outgoing calll recording. Supports 4GB card means you may record huge amount of calls.

Treo 755P too supports as 700P and 755 P are same.

I am more than happy with 700P for call recording.

Dear Dr. Arun,

I bought from ebay, US, but sadik (Rimwebian) seems to be selling treo too. I have seen him selling PPC 6800 and 6900. He is trusted seller on rimweb as I bought one 6800 from him just day before.

Dear Kshah,

My friend is there in US. So possible to buy from US. (treo 755P)

I should go for a clean ESN or a bad ESN? if bad ESN, can it be made usable in reliance?

Awaiting for your reply

Since reliance do no accept ESN from out side all ESN are bad for it. Dad ESN is not bad for tata as tata accepts foreign ESN. Basically BAD ESN is carrier specific, meand carrier has blacklisted said ESN and will not activate.

Arranging one handset from US will be too expensive, rather contact sadik, as he mentioned somewhere that he is importing Treo 755P. Since he will order in bulk it will be cheaper even with his little profit.

When I bought it was 189 bucks + 80 bucks for courier. Plus custom duties, I was charge Rs. 4500 or so. He said he will sell in just 10k or so.
