Recommended Posts

Dear All,

Pls. suggest CDMA handset which I can use as a modem to surf internet on laptop. What is the typical speed on 1X for downloading or the GSM-2G would be better ?

Anyday 1x is better than gsm for data. During the DAPO days of Reliance Nokia2280, 2112 phones had modem with them

Amit Jee,

Are 1X data card and data cards used for "Reliance net connect, Mblaze of MTS and TATA Photon" which can be used for both 1X, and broadband, are different ?

Spice C3300 has inbuilt modem .I have bought it from letsbuy.com for 1050rs.

It has inbuilt modem but it s useless.Speed is very less when compared to other handsets like lg6600.Though the technology is same CDMA 1x it does not give the same speed.

Dear Friends,

I need your suggestions for internet connection for my niece. I am using "MTS" for last 5-6 months and am quite satisfied with it, and suggested her it too, but she is more keen for "Reliance 3G" through unlocked dongle. Acually I have never used Reliance 3G and don't have any experience with any other operators's 3G service so I, myself cannot decide which is better in between the two. She will use it in Greater Noida and Delhi.
