Hi cspn,

I think u should take it to LG service centre..

Maybe it would be fine after a soft flash... :D

Anyways.. tutorials were for Lg 2030 and even for

tat enough warnings were given by the individuals.. :P

Can't I do the flashing myself ??

I dont know whether you would be able to do the software flash by urself

bcz u would need the right flash file and the exact software to write the stuff..

Even if u have both.. there are chances of loosing the data u have in it..

If its in service centre.. they will have all the required stuff with them...

And It would be better if u have it done by them.. :D

The service centre guy tells me that the PCB has gone bad and needs to be replaced. He says there is no way of upgrading the software as the phone is not coming to the menu itself. But I wonder through software how can you corrupt the hardware, unless you do some destructive physical process..

I have heard tat when they replace battery and when we claim insurance we

arent give the full amount.. Some percent is deducted.. Not sure abt this..

I think you should confirm tat too :)

hmmm, i too wonder how it caused damage to the hardware. Are you sure that it con't be repaired by flashing the handset ? I'm sorry for the mishap occured to you. Please do keep us updated on how it goes for you. I hope members with LD 7130 will read this post before they start hacking their handsets.
