Please anyone suggest an imported GSM 3G handset within the budget of 10000/-.It should be mint/like new android or iPhone(3GS will be ok because the budget is tight). Pantech burst is one of the choice from my side.

pantech burst has horrible battery backup. one of the worst i have seen till date.

battery backup is worst in ICS, as reported by some users, and its moderate in GB. If someone upgrades to ICS and wants to downgrade, the phone gets locked again and needs unlock code to remove network lock..

Yes it will support ussd.

As mentioned gb is good enough and is very smooth plus battery backup is good on that. ICS Hs many bugs. SO advisable not to upgrade.

However many geb bursts are getting delivered without battery. And some have reported speaker problem.

@avishek da, i bought it for 9030 - 7.5%. waise bhi i bought this as as impulsive buy.. regarding missing battery / refurbished unit or any other issue, i have paid through paisapay, so the amount is safe. expected delivery date is monday by bluedart.. the phone which was bought for me by my friend in US (pantech burst black) has everything including 16 GB memory card as well.. expecting to get that by the end of this month.. so i will be using that only..

I am using burst without any problem. i m just using GB + root+ frozen AT&T apps.

You will get good battery life (1.5 days) in 2G (if u keep lte/3g on --it will search and waste u battery)

since 1 or 1.5 days is low as per non smartphone users, they are complaining.

Huawei phones have 32% market share in US. This is a reliable phone what Sougataji has recommended. G300 is still more sophisticated. Many updates are released from time to time and software support from developers.
