@smartsamrat , if u r facing issues to add Google account over WiFi, then its not related to programing of moto g, do a factory reset or try another account .

Its not related to reliance programing.

^^^

Its fine to update your MDN, and very important to save your MIN in safe place.

Is MDN our Phone Number? After Updating PRL, i don't notice any signal drops. :-)

Yes mdn is our phone number.

Signal quality is very consistent on moto g and x with reliance CDMA.

Best I have seen.

When i used a GSM Phone before, i had the option to Change from 3G to 2G and vice versa. Can it be done in our Moto G, force 1x mode only?

Hi.

I recently went to a reliance world to get my reliance number transferred to moto g however the person at the reliance world said that it is a chargeable service at rs 200 and also he will get the number transferred from his end. Should I pay him rs 200?

No, it is free and will be done in minutes.

If it is Reliance Web World, you need not pay a single penny for number transfer. But if you visit Reliance Mobile Store, they charge for the same. I have personally experienced it.

Yes, you can do it in cdma too. Download an app called NETWORK. There you will find options to choose whatever you want. I am personally using it.

Yes that's what I thought as he don't need the device as well. He said he just need device IMEI and one ID proof. Where can I get a HCC card ? He said it's only available in okhla area in Delhi and also for that I'll need a reliance cellphone which I don't have.

selling HCCs, Blank RUIMs, raising proper SRs, are very old tricks of earning money by RW's staff members as there is no check and audit mechanism in place for the same. This reminded me of an instance few years back, when 3 members of one RW were fired cos they did the same with Corporate Vice President of RCOM, who was on surprise visit and nobody, even at circle level, knew about his visit.

Hi,

I have been following this excellent tutorial till slide 30. I have one query regarding the boxes for MDN & PCS on the DFS NAM page. In the tutorial slide both the boxes are filled with zeros but in my case both are simply blank. Am I doing something wrong?

Also on my Moto G's 'about phone' page the MDN is "unknown" and the MIN is all zeros.

The MEID registration is pending & the phone has not yet been activated.

If anyone could tell me how I can fill in those MDN & PCS boxes to zeros as per tutorial slide 30. Grateful for any help.

Thanks!

right now forget that blank space.

after activation, MIN will come thru OTA then just dial ##000000# and fill your MDN and save MIN.

no worries about those blank MDN and PCS boxes
