Talking about Boost Moto G? Try resetting MIN and try OTAPing again. If it's a failed OTAP, you may have to submit a request for reOTAP at your local Web world.

thanks for the wonderful tutorial.

i have spent weeks on searching for this and finally today i have found one.

i had totally lost hope,

because reliance had told i can't help and moto g told

u need to replace your motherboard and finally without the

help of both i could fix my phone back.

now i have a small query.

as the above tutorial says

18) you can use CW nv item write and write DATA DUMP, use free NV Item writer from CW http://www.cdma-ware...ader_writer.rar (get CW3.6 Dump after registration)

here i don't know where to register and how to find the dump file.

can some one help me.

This you will get from person who did MEID registration for your moto g.

If your moto g 's MEID is not registered then you need to wait till MEID registration opens .

Right now MEID registration is closed.

i purchased my device from r-com e-shop

and when i received and opened the package the box was of boost mobile.

so i don't know know exactly who activated.

1. suppose i don't want to write dump and the password will it effect my phone?

2. i completed your tutorial up to prl flash version 5.

3. now i have my reliance network and i dialed *228 for activation.

4. it asked me for the 9 digit code.

5. before this my phone was already activated by reliance.

6. and by the way the mobile phone numbers are of 10 digit.

7. can this procedure of *228 for activation be done by myself

or should i visit reliance for activation.

8. if so that i can do by myself, could you please help me out by telling me how?

9. i am new for cdma ones.

but before this i have rooted devices and installed roms and cwm recovery,

so i got no idea on the programming part.

10. it was weeks my phone with no signal

11. and now within minutes i am back with the network on the phone.

and also would like to ask if we change rom or update the rom will it affect the reliance network and

should we use the dfs cdma tool and fix it back.

because i did not like the boost stock rom thinking to change the rom

to google one the one rom which runs on moto g xt1033.

Before I start , I want to ask few questions.

1- where is your current number ? On this phone and you are not able to make calls. Or you have transfered it to some other phone or sim.

2- before doing this programming have you factory reset your phone or took a update ?

3- your are not aware of all things , but still want to ask you. Do you know your MIN number ?

4 - have you contacted reliance or a reliance seller for dump file ?

5- your number is postpaid or prepaid ?

but i would like to ask sorry for the trouble.

1. my current number is i don't know.

i got it transfered by reliance.

i was using zte java phone earlier and got it transfered to mot g recently.

2. before this i was in a big soup with no network.

actually my phone said there's an update for your phone,

when ever i try to install it used to tell me update not validated.

i was very irritated with the error message.

then i posted threads at xda developers,

few told to change the rom and to told to flash the stock ones.

i tried the falcon_boost and flashed to my phone and was socked to see the phone with no network.

the weeks passed with no luck then one member told try rim web and i tried

saw the rim guru (i.e- you hitesh sir) and followed the instructions and now i am on this sage.

3. i don't know clearly what that relates,

but my phone says 0000000000.

4. no i haven't contacted anyone regarding the dump file.

in fact i came to know that you require a dump file only few minutes ago.

i will try to contact r-com e-shop tomorrow regarding the dump file,

since i can't reach boost mobile.

5. my phone number is pre-paid

6. would also like to tell that i purchased only the device with no plan

Sir I contacted them they told me to visit the nearest reliance outlet as they don't have such kind of information.

If they don't have such information then how will reliance outlet have the information?

And also I would like to tell the service which they provide to me in bengaluru is really bad.

So will try anyway.

When I press 1, It says:

Please enter the 9 digit pin number, as mentioned in the Reliance user guide.

I want to know that, if I buy a new number, will I get this 9 digit number.

and if I enter that number, will my phone work without getting MEID registered into reliance newtork?

Buddy of you getting the activation call means programming of reliance prl is done but even if you get the 9 digit pin for your number it ain't gonna activate unless you get meid reg.

The 9 digit pin it is asking for is the number from a GSK (Get Started Kit) or from a HCC card.

But that option only works once the MEID is registered. And the dump file step happens only after MEID registration which is closed as of now.

Are you sure , MEID is not registered ?

As this 9 digit option comes only after reg is done.

Other wise it says phone could not be activated.

Check getstat for ur MEID or pm me your MEID

It won't take more than 20min to full flash your phone, just follow the tutorial.

Getstat will come after registration only.
