Consumer forum summons Anil Ambani

Reliance Communications (formerly Reliance Infocomm) chairman Anil Ambani was today summoned by a city consumer forum to personally appear before it on August 30 in connection with a complaint, accusing the telephone major of 'unfair trade practices'.

The summons was sent on the basis of a complaint lodged by a resident here, accusing the company of fraudulently de-activating his mobile phone connection taken under the 'Khazana' promotional scheme.

The District Consumer Forum (North) also directed the company to activate the phone connection with immediate effect.

The forum also said that if the respondent failed to comply with either the summons or the direction on re-activating the phone, all bank accounts of the company would be frozen.

A consumer court freezes bank assests of a company because of 1 man's complaint about a deactivated phone!!!

And Anil being summoned personally??

It all sounds very phony if you ask me.

Ha Ha Ha.

This is the way our legal systems work. Anyway, nothing will dent these people's style of functioning anymore.

@ munnamobile, one more instance of the great Reliance here.

This is the best way of paying-off for the daily harassmenets being caused to millions of customers by Reliance.

Keep up it up friends.....Let Ambani realise the agonies.....
