I think it is unfair to caste a vote, since have used only 1 CDMA service provider. But having used RCDMA for a while now vote goes to it.

^^^ You could have uploaded the contacts to the google account via a csv import and then let it sync to the phone.

The neoprene dkaile suggested is pretty good. Protects the phone well. Have also recently ordered a leather one.

I have updated to EC05, after an Odin to DI18. Continuosly getting radio reset. Is there any fix for this or should I go back to DI18?

Is there any App or any other way to find out whether the connection is EVDO or 1x. I have an EVDO plan enabled. However I doubt that the phone is still defaulting to 1x. Since the phone comes engaged when Data is on. Something similar to the dialer for Tata Photon+ that clearly shows whether I am on HSIA or CDMA.

Was facing the same issue. Should be resolved now. Just toggle between Airplane and normal mode. Next time you connect it should go through.

Can someone please explain how do I handle call waits on my EPIC on Reliance? 1. How to take the second incoming call? 2. How to switch between 2 calls? 3. How to merge the 3 calls? No, the default phone app options are not working for me correctly everytime. Sometimes when a take the second call it goes to the new call, sometimes it stays on the same call, in both cases it shows as if the other call is on wait. Merge has never worked for me. Are they working for all of you?

One biiig complaint with the Epic. The battery drains like anything. Half a day is all I get. I am always on the lookout for a recharge oppurtunity. I am a super lite phone user. May be medium data, but that's also not too much. Does any one feel the need to keep a back up battery, I am kind a tempted in getting one after being left high and dry couple of times now. Is nobody else facing this issue?

There is an app called Market Enabler for rooted phones, that changes the country location. Has anyone tried on a CDMA phone? May be this could help reveal India speicfic apps on our US CDMA Anrdoids.

I just received mine this week. Has anyone had any problems with it thus far. Have read else where, that the glue is bad quality and might damage the body cover. Hence trying to be cautious.

LOL, it says people using 6 - 8. That leaves only us 9 beta users out. Which BTW s**ks, since I have marked compatibility mode on most websites. Including our beloved rimweb. Including GMail. Which funilly recognizes that I am running IE9 in compatibility mode and tells me to switch it off. But, as soon as you do that, the manage contacts page is a mess. Long live MS - and Google too in this case.
