did anyone faced problem with Tapatalk after EC05 update? whenever i try to search for forum in Tapatalk or browse, it shows "receiving from server" then processing and then java error. it then shows "processing". if i dont close the app from task manager, it will show processing even after 30 minutes. it happens on wifi and data call.

i think you should be on factory settings. generally all custom ROMs have app to backup/restore settings. is this problem is after any upgrade? ie upgraded ROM or some other app. just think and decide. use PIM backup.. i have used and found it to be good. advice you to please copy the backup file on PC also.

i agree with Dhiraj Kaile. after reading this post, i checked the details and found that MDN was used as username and password. then i changed it to generic one and vola.. Epic kept on restarting every 4-5 minutes. changed again to mdn and is working fine. below was done even before reading Dhiraj's post. in the morning, i also upgraded my friend's Epic from DI18 to EC05. he got OTA and restart problem persisted. so downgraded and upgraded to EC05 through update.zip and also changed his username to mdn. working fine since then..

take back up and try hard reset or try using "wipe your device" in windows settings. in both case, you need to back up your device. or restore original ROM and then try.

follow this steps: 1. Download the following file and save it in your phones root directory (not any special folder) - which basically means when you use "USB storage" on your phone when it's plugged into your PC...drag the update.zip file into your phone where you see all the folders. Do NOT put it in any folder. Donwload update.zip 2. make sure its named update.zip and nothing else. if its named something else like update1.zip, change it to update.zip 3. turn phone off 4. Hold down camera, volume down and press power. 5. Use volume down to select SDCard: update.zip 6. Press Home on the capacitive buttons to select. 7. Phone should automatically install and reboot. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. ALSO AT SOME PLACES UPDATE IS JUST 4.5MB for DI18 ITS ADVISABLE TO USE 91MB file THAN THIS 4MB. b

i upgraded to EC05 based on my post #614 working fine without any resets for almost 4hours.. will keep you posted..

for those who want to update from DI18 to EC05 Download zip file This link is for DI18 to EC05 update only! Download file rename and save to SD card and boot to recovery mode and apply update.zip from SD card. Recovery mode= switch off phone. press Volume Down + Camera + Power button. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Thanks my parent is diabetic so will think of buying this, any reviews of the product? my brother used previous version of this for about years and still running fine. recently got offer through doc and upgraded it. its good machine. in fact there couple of more, from J&J and other 2-3 cos. all are good. just you need to get used to. you will be surpirsed that even hospitals use such machine for in house patient where day to day monitoring is required. it is cheap and reliable. please keep in mind that if both of your parents are using it, then use separate needle for piercing and DO NOT FOLLOW THE AVG SHOWN ON MACHINE. JUST NOTE DOWN INDIVIDUAL READING. NOTE: THIS IS BETTER FOR ROUTINE TESTING AND ALWAYS DO 3MONTH AVG SUGAR TESTING EVERY 3 MONTHS.

Every CC charges 3.5% for foreign transactions. This is what they earn ! This must also be mentioned in the MITC of the credit card too. i doubt abt these on citibank and HSBC.

everybody has good and bad experience with banks. it depends on your usage. i prefer nationalised bank. its easier to get things done with them compare to private banks unless you have excellent "tunning" with the manager. here you are talking about current account which means a business and you know what is required for business. you may not excellent technology in a nationalised bank, but sure they are at par with any private bank. their charges are much more reasonable and easier to get things done... however i will suggest you have to look at options available with you..

never use HDFC credit card for foreign transaction. if you buy anything online in foreign currency, you will be charged 3.5% foreign currency conversion charge on the amount spent. recently i paid college fees for my nephew and when statement came, i was shocked to see this charge.
