hi, i am using sprint htc one in india on reliance cdma network. suddenly last week the phone stopped reciving sms . phone is ota updated to latest software (after ota sms was working) outgoing sms ,data,phone all working. reliance is facing this problem with their officially launched htc one dual sim hand set . they have launched ota a fix for it 4.22.720.7 (77.04mb) . does any one has a fix for sprint hand set . had called reliance they told me to go to htc service to update software but patch is for dual sim phone thanks

did a hard reset . sms working now

I have 2 HTC one with the same update as your but one phone fine one got this problem a week back *228 was fine as phone was working 're flashed with flash phone to be sure any parameter was wrong

Procedure to convert ppc6800 to ruim . 1)remove back cover (4 screws) remove the thin sheet metal plate stuck on the pcb. 2) will see six points on the pcb . 3) solder sim tray on these points see direction of ruim card photo att . Remember we require the sim tray as per pin config att 4)solder jumpers as per photo att 5)cut the sheet metal sheet as to accommodate the sim tray. 6)as we have put the sim tray the original battery will not fit find extended battery cover and use it with standard battery . 7)upgrade radio to 1.47.01 .might have to unlock the pda to upgrade radio . Procedure can be found on net as titan unlocker. 8) in qpst change config to ruim if available can be done with cdma workshop free version also. Phone is ready for reliance service use photos.zip

i has the same problem to over write the htc_cm_guardian in htc 6800 and htc 6900. try with resco exp 2007 to over write it worked for me , resco exp 2008 did not work . I have tried with Total commander also but the same error repeats. To make sure I am following the right proceedure, I tried again on another HTC Touch device & had no problems replacing the HTC_CM_Guardian file. It sounds really weird but even after a hard reset or even a re-flash of the rom the problem continues. Even more baffling is that I end up with 2 files with the guardian name when I try to replace the original (the orginal is dispayed as an application file whereas the dummy as a text file with an .exe extension), however the original doesn't replace since it is rom file (as per message recd) I will give one more shot exactly following Anupe's proceedure, as soon as I am again ready to spend couple of hours behind it. Thanks guys for helping me out & please come up with any other suggetions to sort this really weird problem.

check your battery if not connected properly (or faulty) the red LED glows instead of orange. which will also not let the phone reboot. plz help me to debrick its not starting at all when I put usb cable its show red led instead orange plz help

hi, try it with the latest rom and radio as i have not tried it because when i converted mine the new radio was not available. if it works post it on rimweb.

IF ONE IS USING LATEST ROM (GPS ENABLE) FOR 6800 FIRST YOU WILL HAVE TO REPLACE HTC_CM_GUARDIAN IN WINDOW DIRECTORY WITH A DUMMY HTC_CM _GUARDIAN FILE ONLY THEN YOU CAN CONFIGURE REL MOBILEWORLS (HETAL EX ROM) AS DEFAULT . OVER WRITING THE FILE CAN ONLY BE DONE THROUGH RESCO EXPLORER 2007. DUMMY FILE = MAKE A BLANK FILE WITH THE SAME NAME AND EXT .

i have bought with the battery as no seller selles only cover. ishop-express is the most reasonable on ebay and will ship to india

do not mind but before posting such comments please put in your time and money for such r&d you will know how diffcult it is. i do not feel it looks ugly as the cover matches very well.

finally ext battery cover for the 6800 it fits well and looks good

already tried this last week evening filling half mm from lower side of sim tray the back cover has a little gap on sides after closing

ppc6700 is the best option as on date . for ruim you will have to buy it from reliance it will not work directly some modification needed can be found on ppcgeeks by hetal
