^^^ So what you are trying to say, is Reliance as it is, shall be a better match for me? Just that one needs to upgrade to the HD box/DVR... but then I am sure everybody's requirement would be different than anybody else... I also require that I will fix another STB in one of our rooms, so additional cost of the stb also needs to be considered... Plus, my main requirement is good picture/sound clarity (saala, one pays more than 75K for a full hD 42 incher almost 3 years ago, and no HD content makes me feel, grhhh), Faster response rate (starting, easy moving between channels, GUI, etc etc) Batao mujhe, aaj kal, kaun yeh sab 'extra' services use karte hain (like active in tata, etc)?? except for mothers/daughters, that too even if they are well suited to browse through the services inside the puny little remote?? {This was one reason for me to not deter towards TATA, because their USP according to me is, extra features in terms of content} I had also heard someone/somewhere (also includes online forums elsewhere) that videocon has one of the best GUI, and easy to browse, plus faster in accepting the input given from the remote control, than reliance or tata... Regarding Videocon not being cost-friendly, mujhe abhi pata chala aapke post se.. I thought its a cost-effective product than competition {assuming I will have one main, and one add-on connection}.. But now I think ill have to digg deeper... Also, I was/am under the impression that videocon has/have more HD channels (and also other 'viewable' channels) than others... Plus they have like 2 or max. 3 packs, wherein the topmost pack, will have everything including HD (plus one 3d channel, pata nahi woh use hoga ya nahi kabhi), whereas everyone else has scores of plans, and plus they ask more (like tata asking 50 bucks a month) for HD channel feeds... I am just thinking that we get user reviews of videocon and tata (both HD ones), about as many aspects they think is relevant for them and might be useful for decision-makers like me... BTW, Rajanbhai, I really appreciate your hardwork and knowledge about this on your earlier post.. Thank you very much for your great inputs... It will surely help me in taking a decision

@Vijaybhai, I have never really thought of Airtel. I think they are costliest in terms of usage costs (they might be cheaper in starting investment)... I am keenly looking for Tata Sky+ or Videocon d2h only...

I want to giveaway a Microusb Car Charger... I had bought it for my Palm PRE, long time back, but had/have never used it... hadnt even checked it, so i dont know if it works or not... see the picture, and let me know.. -
I would say, its one of the best phone Ive used.. the Dual Core does its job awesomely.. and the 1GB Ram, eats away all the apps like a breeze that I throw to it.. Only disappointment I have is the battery life.. it gives me a puny 14 -16 hours of battery life by using 3G full time (background data) some 40 to 60 mins of call usage and data reception.. This is very less for a humungous 1930 mAH battery size... I am looking for ways to maximize battery life...

Greatest replied to sgiitk's topic in The Lounge
There are other options like, a) Clay Telecom (http://www.clay.co.in/) (email ids, cs1.bangalore@clay.co.in and davender@clay.co.in) Phone Number : +91 9980291742 Hopsim, Indmobile Ventures Limited (http://intouchsmartcards.com/Hop_SIM_Card.htm) (email ids, sonal.sawant@hopsim.com and yashi.goel@hopsim.com) Phone Number : +91 7208062224 I had contacted them at the last moment during my trip in December 2010, and they had replied to me after my trip got over. And hence I have their email ids and contact number. I havent really read reviews about these SIMs nor have used their service, so I am not aware. But I am sure someone must have used it and they can put up a review. -

I have a HTC Hero phone holder inside the Car... It is for the HTC HERO G1 GSM Model.. But I think other phones of that size could also be hold'ed' in this phone holder for the car.. It is very useful for using navigation/GPS inside your car.. It will hold the phone firmly and show you the way, without anyone holding it in your hand. See picture below for more info.. If anyone wants this, do let me know... -

This is an excellent product which kshah had given away to me, and it helped me very well. Thank you very much kshahji. It has been lying in my home unused for more than 2 months, and so I would also like to give this away to anyone who might find it useful.. Here is the REVIEW of the product from CNET Kindly requesters, ask for this.. Awaiting.. -
^^^ This is not because of Palm Pixi Plus.. It is because of the CDMA tech (atleast with rcom, i Guess).. When I used to have rcom cdma connection, i was never able to dial any mobile/ll with the prefix +91... I also had to face such issues, and so,I would just click on the name and then in options, I would click 'edit before call'.. and then remove the +91 and add a 0, and then dial.. I hope you have a feature of such a thing in palm pixi plus...

^^^ how are you enjoying free 3g in delhi from vodafone till now?? Prepaid or postpaid?? -
So this means, there is nothing special in the videocon STBs, only thing is marketing gimmicks... If that is the case, I am waiting for my Rel Digital TV's long term plan to get over in the next 3-4 months, and then will shift either to videocon/tata sky... Will have to now save money for a 3d tv...

^^^ Kepalbhai, you are an awesome person, and know how to get the 'juice' out of operators.. You can enjoy 2GB at 99 bucks, but unfortunately, I am a postpaid customer, and 'vada'fone loves to milk its postpaid customers.. This is daylight robbery... But atleast now, I am not having tower issues which I had with my rcdma.. -
