  1. Motorola X Verizon Wireless - GSM Not Working

@ VA/Parin/anybody else: Can you please confirm whether Wifi tethering works with CDMA?
  2. Ultimate Blackberry Phone Tips And Tricks

T9 means if you type first 2-3 characters of a name from within the dialer, it will show a list of all matching names. No need to go to contacts and then search using the keyboard. For eg: if you want to call a contact named "Rahul", you just open the dialer and hit 7-2-4 and you will see list of all matching names like Rahul, Raheem, Raghav etc etc. Android apps are available and I am using the same on my Razr M.
  3. Ultimate Blackberry Phone Tips And Tricks

Anyone missing T9 dialer on Z10? Any tips how to have it on the Z10?
  4. I was trying to understand if android phones can have digital sound out using HDMI and then connect it to a DAC? Any clues if this looks workable? If this can be worked, I can save some money in shot term on sonos then! Thanks. Android phones with JB onwards directly support USB DAC via OTG cable connected to the micro USB port. No need of HDMI cable. If you already have a USB DAC with you, just get an OTG cable & try connecting the DAC to your phone. It should work. Else, try with "USB Audio Player Pro" from Google Play store (first try the trial version to check).
  5. Motorola Droid Razr M (Global)

What is xposed framework? Is it a kernel or ROM or something else? Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Handset Names Rebranded

Canvas Knight and Wiko Highway, both are manufactured by same OEM i.e. Tinno Mobile Corp. So it is not correct to say that one is the rebranded version of the other.
  7. If possible, try using the same SIM in another CDMA handset and see whether 3G(EVDO) works. If it works, then issue is with your handset. If not, then check whether EVDO works with other SIMs in your area. Could be network issue also i.e. EVDO signal could be very weak in your area.
  8. Motorola Announces Moto G

One point to keep in mind while comparing other similar priced & better specced handsets (like Lenovo/Karbon/Micromax etc) is that the G has a Qualcomm processor while the other ones have a mediatek chip. And it does translate into performance issues.
  9. Motorola Announces Moto G

Im suggesting Nexus 4 to my friend. He is afraid of using without SD Card. This will help. Thanks Dipan. Though not a proper solution, but it is possible to attach a pen drive to the phone using OTG cable...should you really need it. So it is not that you are stuck up with just that much storage. But I think 32GB should have been a good option, unless you are into trading movies with friends
  10. To add one more point: Meals are not free in their resorts. They charge exhorbitantly for food and generally, the resorts are located far off from market places, so you have no option but to pay. OTOH, if you invest Rs 3 lakhs in a bank FD, you will earn Rs 25K per year which is good enough for 4-5 day's stay in a good hotel.
  11. Here is the complete news of Tata's exit. They are in talks with Vodafone for a deal. http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/news-by-industry/telecom/tata-group-to-exit-telecom-business-completely-sources/articleshow/29547301.cms
  12. No. Shopclues is not risky. I have ordered 9-10 items till date, highest priced one being Rs3200 for a Racold Geyser, which I received along with VAT bill and a stamped warrantee card. What more do you want? The only risk being if they sell you a wrong model, then you dont have a place (shop) to go and bang the salesman! You have to correspond online.
  13. HTC One dual sim. Appx 42K price. Only catch is that Slot-1 supports HSPA as well as EVDO Rev B. But Slot-2 supports only EDGE. @maniac8828: Searching for HTC Desire 800 only returned Lumia 800 and no Desire 800
  14. Thanks Hitesh. Got a LG DVD writer for Rs. 950/- . At this price, I feel there is no point in comparing and searching for various brands & models. Just get whatever is available off the shelf. And that is what I did! Just to mention: Online prices were in the range of 1000-1100 plus shipping.
  15. My PC's DVD writer conked off. Need to buy a new one. Pl suggest? What should I look for as essential features and as extra features?
  16. High end specs on paper is one thing. But the most important thing we forget is how good is the network capability of the phone. In terms of catching the signal in poor network areas, call quality (voice clarity on both ends) and frequency of call drops. They mention everything but always nothing about network quality. So, if possible, check that out or else, go for a little lower specced good brand phone.
  17. Best VFM broadband in Mumbai?

If you stretch your budget a little, this new plan from MTNL looks very good: Rs 1050 p.m. (+Serv tax) for 8mbps and FUP limit of 28GB (and 1mbps post FUP). http://mtnlmumbai.in/index.php/8mbps-plan
  18. Motorola Droid Razr M (Global)

Hi Bablus, I'm also getting the same error. But where/how do you disable it? Can you brief me the procedure.
  19. Android 4.4 KitKat

Let us all support Laddoo. The time has come for an Indian name, its actually over due. So that we should be saying " Android ka latest laddoo khaya kya? " By the way, Lassi is a drink and not a dessert.
  20. That's for orders above Rs 10000.. If you spend another 1002/- rupees to make the order value > 10,000, you will get back Rs 1500 as cashback! Do check
  21. Losing your MIN is not dead end

I am technically challenged with regard to handset programming. Just thinking out aloud: If I lose my MIN, I can just walk in to a webworld and report my handset as damaged. And get a new SIM by retain MDN process. OTAF the new sim in another handset and then read the MIN. Is it this simple? Or am I missing something?
  22. Android 4.4 KitKat

    Now this is absolutely hilarious!
  23. Android 4.4 KitKat

It has to be a desi sweet for the next version. These videshi names sound so bland!
  24. Reliance CDMA on Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE
