  2. Does it support all 3 bands. The only limitation of this device would be that Jio voice would not work. though data would.

  4. Jio is just creating more confusion and nothing else. Also the early adopters have been left in a lurch. I still recall they had given a similar Rs 50 discount offer during May when summer surprise we ending and lot of people like me did multiple recharges of Rs 303 . Today all those recharges are a loss as we are getting only 1 month plan under the 303 plan and only 1 GB data for 28 days. While now by just paying Rs 100 more, folks are getting 84 days 1 GB data. So i would not jump and do too many recharges and blindly follow jio offers as they are misleading and may come up with something better post 19th.

  8. Called motorola customer care, they said you can take the phone to service center. I told him i have already done a factory reset and the issue is happening in both the sim slot. I told him its a 2 days old phone, why would i take to service center, i want it to be changed. He said to contact amazon and raise a request. i asked him if all other Moto G4 Play were having same issues. He said not its not happening with all phones. Do not know if he is lying or telling the truth. Thinking what to do now.
  9. This is suicide, with the way the network is going down the drain, jio will become completely unbearable. They should stop or curb the free data usage to improve network connectivity.
  10. Yes, but strange thing is issue is happening on Moto G 4 play. Not on lyf or redmi phones.

    Issue is same in Slot 1 on volte also it losses signal after few hours and goes to emergency call and no simcard. In Slot 2 also it works fine with Jio Join app for sometime post which it displays the same message. Behavior exhibited is the same on both slots, does not make a different if it is on Volte or using Jio voice. Every few hours the signal would go, once i turn simcard on or off , it start working fine again. This is happening every 2 to 3 hours, 5 to 7 times in a day. Problem is i am missing calls and messages. Called Jio care also they are saying it is a known issue and many users are facing this problem They are saying they are making some network changes and it would get fixed. Been over 24 hours, still i do not see it fixed.
  13. I recently got the Moto G4 Play on Saturday. Got Jio Sim.I have put Jio 4G sim in slot 1. Things are working fine and I am getting LTE and VOLTE .But at randomly, my LTE sim signal is getting lost and sim 1 is showing emergency calls only & No sim card. All I need to do is to go to sim settings and disable sim 1 and again enabling it will bring signals back or just turn aeroplane mode on and off . This is happening randomly during a day and happening every 2 to 3 hours 7-8 times in a day. I even dont know that signal is lost unless I take my phone of pocket to make calls or check messages. I have even tried to put second Jio 4G sim to check but same is happening with second sim also with the jio join app installed. It works fine for few hours and then goes to same no signal emergency calls only. So I am confused whether its an issue with sim or phone? Anyone else facing this issue in their phones. Called Jio customer care they said they are making some changes due to which this issue is happening. But in the Lyf phone with the same sim there are no issues at all. Also i found a similar post in XDA for the same issue but for a different model Moto G 3rd Gen. Tried couple of steps given there but did not fix the issue. Should i ask for replacement ?

    Got a brand new Moto G4 Play in which i m using jio sim and after every few hours, i see no simcard emergency calls only showing up. Once i turn simcard on and off or turn aeroplane mode on and off it starts working fine. Works fine for couple of hours and then the issue repeats itself . This is happening every 2 to 3 hours cycle. Checked all settings did all required updates but still issue persists. Finally call Jio customer care early morning and the lady said this is a known issue many other customers who are using non lyf phones are facing this issue. She said they are making some network changes and this should get fixed in the next 48 hours. Anyone else facing a similar issue and is there any solution for the same.
