Hi guys. I'm having an unique problem with my motorola photon 4g during a call .whenever I receive a call the "e" icon disappears .only after the call is completed does the icon reappear again. Apple products may be the best but they are exploiting chinese workers to make their products. Many a report has cropped up saying how poorly they are paid . Make no mistake , apple products are good but I just feel that they are expensive for no apparent reason. I mean a brand new htc one x with a quad core processor costs less than the cheapest iphone 4s model. Yes the retina display is said to be best among mobile phones but is that alone enough to charge exorbitant rates th or their mobiles? In conclusion apple is not the best . Best printer to go for would be HP. I did some research before I got my Printer 3 years back. The person I spoke to works at a printer cartridge refilling shop. He told me that canon & Epson cartridges can't be refilled. I did not enquire about Samsung as it was not very popular at that period of time. I got a hold f 4288 print scan copy for 3400rs in chennai. I have been using my Printer without any problems & also refilling them without any problems. Bharti Mittal is interested only in making money. 2 or 3 years ago he declared a 50% dividend. Meaningfully half of the profits made by airtel were distributed as dividend. Since he holds 51% shares majority of the money went to him. If you distribute half your profits as dividend, then what will be left for improving the infrastructure? I have been using Kent ro water purifier for the past 5 years. Only after 5 years I had to change 2 filters in the system. Till that it never gave me any problem. Water purification is very good. Till now eureka forbes did not have a uv + ro purifier. So even though I'm completely satisfied with Kent I would suggest you to go for eureka forbes became that's a much better known company with a. 3g plans at the moment are not affordable,then what is the use of introducing another technology that no one can afford? all the telecom companies said that after a couple of years the 3g prices would stabilise,but they have remained stagnant. even broadband has not improved. countries like south korea and japan that have a fraction of the customer base as india are able to provide broadband at much faster speeds and much lower cost to customers.

may i ask what you mean by "if warranty is not an issue" ? also these models you mentioned don't seem to be available in india.

hello friends. this is what happened to me with customer care over the past 5 days. 1. on 15th feb evening,i called customer care to de activate my 39rs sms pack. the lady who picked up the phone told me to send the following msg to 53739 - " deact smspack ". i sent the msg but got a reply saying that my request could not be processed. 2. immediately i called CC and told them the problem and asked them to take a request to deactivate my sms pack. the person took the request and gave me a request no. 3.on 17th feb at 12 am, my pack was going to be renewed. even after giving the request for cancellation,the monthly charges of RS 39 was deducted and immediately the sms pack was also deactivated on the same day. 4. upon finding this, i called CC to ask them about this. they said that the complaint had been closed by them because " the customer had sent the wrong key word to 53739 (refer point 1) . i explained that the keyword was given to me by CC and that they had only provided the wrong keyword. i registered another complaint with them. 5. yesterday i recieved a msg saying that the 2nd complaint had also been processed. again i called cc to find out what had happened. the person who picked the call this time was a real C***. he told me that there CANNOT be any mistakes at all from their side and that only i had made the mistake. even after reminding him that the CC ppl provided the wrong info,he kept insisting that there is absolutely NO CHANCE of any mistake from their side.i asked to speak to a team leader or supervisor but he said no one was available. he was the rudest person i have ever encountered in my life. i screamed a few obscenities at him and cut the line. everyone in this forum were sharing their horror stories about UN-reliance but i had never experienced any such events before. but this particular episode has really left me feeling so angry. i just wanted to share this event as a reminder to any person who is thinking of getting a UN-reliance connection. pls dont make the mistake. find yourself another operator.
