Many thanks for this. Got confirmation from Airtel CC that port request is rejected. Reason - Invalid ID I had used Adhaar authentication. On followup it turned out that I ported 2 numbers simultaneously and it was not allowed. And I had specifically asked in store. Nevertheless went again and to my surprise Airtel system is not accepting my MNP request now saying number is already on Airtel. More digging and it was found that once rejested same MNP code can't be used. And I can't get a new code from RCOM. Completely stuck. Seems I have to port to Vodafone now Rcom is such a pain even at last breath

Where are you checking the status. Mine is also stuck in Delhi circle RCOM Prepaid to Airtel Prepaid from last 9 days with no info. Another prepaid SIM I ported from RCOM UPW Prepaid to Airtel Delhi in flat 4 days. This one is stuck for no reason

I have around Rs. 800 balance in my RCOM prepaid 4G SIM. Is there any chance any scheme coming where-in the RCOM prepaid customers are being shifted to another operator (like Jio or Airtel etc.) while their balance being carried forward. The RCOM signals have faded away from my place. In no way can I use more than 50 of this balance. If there is no chance of the above then I would just write down this amount and port in to another operations. Anyone. any clue.

Time to move on from Reliance 4G... Worst network, worst plans.

Facing severe network issues in so called RCOM 4G LTE sim. It doesn't catch network on roaming for hours while the old RGSM sim shows network. Requires several times phone reboot, manual network selection to make it work. The way RCOM handles things is laughable. They dug their own grave.

Reading this thread it looks that 97 recharge for Mumbai is not giving the mentioned 10 GB. Can anyone confirm this. Why Reliance has advertized this if it is not working. Strange.

Checked again. Seems to work. Last time when I checked about 2 months back, it was showing the topics with new posts repeated x times were x was number of new posts. May be that I visited the forum after 1 month or due to upgrade bug (like multiple notifications). Today I checked and it listed a topic once only tven if there are 10 new posts as unread. Would keep a watch and let you know in case there is issue still. Thanks.

MTS was such a nice and stable network. But not anymore. I can confirm that in NCR (at least in some locations), MTS has been shifted to old RCOM towers and software too. Now the network is pathetic with above 50% call drops, loss of voice within 30 secs of calling, phone unreachable most of times and unstable and worst data network. Sad to see the superior MTS network (especially the stable data network) is no more. It is now the pathetic RCOM CDMA network.

I meant getting unread topic list (including new topics) instead of individual posts. So let's say if there are 10 new posts in a topic since last visit, I should get a link to the topic starting from the unread post. And that should appear only once in the new content feed as a topic with unread activity since last visit.

Ok I have made up mind to port out last remaining 2 RCOM numbers (on RGSM now). What's the best network in NCR from voice coverage perspective (I don't mind AVOID also.. just want peace of good network now.. enough of RCOM torture now).. Friends please suggest.. is it Airtel, Voda, or which network..

The unread content interface is bad after upgrade. It was much better earlier. Clicking the unread content post it goes to first post rather than going to unread post. There is no way to get just topics with unread content rather than individual posts.

Cookie bhai, apke greater Noida mein hi nahin NCR mein kisi bhi region mein kisi ka bhi nahin chal raha unless 4G pack recharge karaya ho. It is as simple as that that RCOM idiots have separate data buckets for 2G/3G and 4G. G**d maro RCOM ki.. @#@$#@* Never been so much annoyed with any mobile network as with RCOM aka RGSM. It's time to screw RCOM, 10 times harder then they screwed us.. Wait for the 90th day and port out all RCOM phone. Ask everyone around also to do so.. Never recommend RCOM to anyone.. I have apprehensions about Jio too now.. these brothers are cheaters.. Jio would be a big failure.. A company cannot launch network even after 6 years of spectrum.. There is seriously wrong. Other operators are slowly launching 4G.. at least they are doing something.

Interesting. Why they are offering 10GB for 97 only in Mumbai circle and nothing of that sorts in another circles. Or is it that 4G is officially up only in Mumbai. In Delhi/NCR it appears for brief and then doesn't latch. Should we expect such plan elsewhere in other circles? BTW there is another interesting observation, a SIM latch to 4G only if you have 4G data balance. Is it? The dongle SIM in Delhi/NCR is continuously latched to 4G even if no 4G balance, but it is suppose to be 'data only'. For normal SIMS, latching to 4G is allowed only when your account has 4G data balance.

ok guys, latest in the 4G drama: - 4G RCOM network live in Delhi/NCR - 4G would be available only for people whose handset supports 850 Mhz LTE else it would be only 3G (H+). - No sharing of 4G JIO bands yet. - For calls it fall back to 3G or 2G (if 3G no available). No VoLTE on RCOM 4G network. And now the BREAKING news RCOM would not be crediting the promised 10 GB 4G data into any account, be it normal mobile SIM or dongle. Confirmed with customer care too. RCOM screwed us royally. First requiring 93 to 97 Rs recharge for 4G 'upgradation' on the lure of free data and same call charges along with SIM charges (depending on mercy of Reliance shop), then getting to know that all lifetime call charges have been reset to 2p/sec, then all this mess of SIM patch and what not, then the wait for 4G network since months.. and now the news that there would be no 10GB credit of data. I never said this but these Reliance brothers are real crooks. No RCOM or Jio for me now ever.. enough of these liars.In the name of upgradation RCOM downgraded us to their pathetic RGSM network. Such is the quality of calls on RGSM that most of times one can hear own voice (echo), no voice and network busy. Enough of this pain.

If RCDMA has done this, then it would be a worst joke.. seeding a scare of network closing down just to get the people on RGSM and test out 4G and in the end keep the CDMA network working.. Everyone is confused.. Let's see how it plays out.. I think it might be that they ask users to port out to MTS.. or you think it would be a seemless.. and RCDMA would continue.. all this ho halla was worthless.. I have already applied for 4G at last when I lost hope that RCDMA would continue :((
