  2. MyJio App

Good News!! New option "My Vouchers" is now available in MyJio app (version 3.2.38). Purchased vouchers can be used/utilised at will & even transfered to other numbers. See below : But recharge history is still not available - so my vouchers are not listed there too. Expecting Jio will fix it soon.
  3. Yes ₹149/- is the minimum monthly plan which one has to choose after 84 days to encash ₹201/- top up voucher (top up voucher cannot be used standalone). They have now modified their offer as the demand increase. In the beginning they were giving direct cash discount before the official announcement of the scheme from the Jio stores. With the official announcement they came out with multiple ₹201/- top up vouchers and now it is not clear & seems as mentioned that only one voucher will be clubbed with every recharge of ₹149/- or above if recharged before 31st March 2018. Scheme does not look interesting anymore.

  12. Reliance Jio Prime Offer

Yes ! my "Summer Surprise - 303" got activated on 20th April (Had done all/multiple recharges of ₹303/- before 31st March) & My wife's "Summer Surprise - 303" also got activated on 20th April (Had done all/multiple recharges of ₹149/- before 31st March & ₹303/- on 5th April). Initially just after 15th April the validity of both my numbers was set to 30th June with "HNY" plan temporarily. My brother's numbers switched to "Summer Surprise - 303" on 22nd April. Everything got disrupted after the introduction of random "Summer Surprise offer" - since this was supposed to be awarded on the basis of eligibility & was not a separate Plan or recharge voucher which could be induced in the system - and the software was not designed to handle such situation of picking individual customers & enabling "Summer Surprise" with different options (1GB/day or 2GB/day or 100GB/90 days) after scrutinizing its eligibility from 10 Crore users while simultaneously segregating and deactivating users who didn't recharge. So they started categorizing customers circle wise and batch processing different groups in different circles one by one. (It would have been easier for them to temporarily enable SuSu for everyone but the scheme was pulled off creating trouble for Jio) Then they introduced one more DDD offer wherein First recharge will provide 84 days. This again became a problem for the software where the first recharge was ₹149/- or lower & DDD became the second recharge. To overcome this they decided to give 28 days benefit with 2 auto renewals to everyone who opted for DDD. Here again they had to segregate those who have already availed "Summer Surprise". I believe Mukesh Ambani should have obtained such software which could handle/insert sudden and unplanned offers automatically after interpreting his thoughts. It is otherwise not easy to search customers on the basis of eligibility from 10 crore database and enable plans with so many different options.
  13. India Against Corruption - Parivartan

आप तो ऐसे ना थे पर क्या करें भ्रष्टाचार एड्स से भी ज्यादा संक्रामक है. AAP to aise na the par kya karein bhrastachaar aids se bhi jyada sankramak hai. Corruption in political environment is highly contagious - precaution is always better than cure. Waiting for Kejru's blame game script....
  14. Reliance Jio Prime Offer

Some users who have not recharged anything or just ₹99/- (Jio Prime membership) are also still getting 1GB/day & 100 SMS/day. This is because Jio's back end team is slow and lot of accounts are still pending to be configured according to selected plans or deactivation. Hence things are not thoroughly clear for everybody. As in your case it is showing ₹149/- as current plan but the validity is showing one month instead of 28 days (count the days from 20th April to 20th May) and giving benefit of DDD - further if you count from 21st May to 21st June is again one month & not 28 days - reason why @KanagaDeepan said "CONFUSING..!!!". I think your plan is yet to be configured properly. There is no mention of Loyalty-Bonus anywhere.
  15. Basically it is Cashback/waiver/discount in the name of 4G data (plan is such designed as to fulfill TRAI’s regulations). Otherwise, in simple layman's language if you submit your any old working dongle/data card/router you will get a new JioFi device with Jio sim free & you have to just pay ₹408/- (DDD+Prime) as mandatory recharge to avail 84 days plan. The second offer is again flat discount of ₹1055/-, so to get a JioFi device with Sim will cost ₹994/- + ₹408/- = ₹1,402/-. Not announced officially - but details are on Jiocare twitter & is only for few days. Seems Jio want to clear JioFi stock while adding some more paid subscribers.(Jio was willing to provide 3 more months free in the form of Summer Surprise which was pulled off upon TRAI’s advice/intervention). This is a good opportunity for those who bought Reliance Wipod last year to get their device exchanged with JioFi.
  16. Jio's JioFi Exchange Offer! Reliance Jio has launched a new offer for customers wherein Jio is giving JioFi Device in exchange for old data card, dongle or hotspot routers. There are two plans which customers can avail - 1) Users get a 100% exchange deal where they need to hand over their existing working data card, dongle or hotspot router at any Jio Digital store or Jio Care store and get 4G data worth ₹2,010/- against the device exchanged. Basically, in order to get a JioFi router the customer has to pay ₹1,999/- and do a compulsory first recharge of ₹408/- (₹309/- for DDD valid for 84 days) + (₹99/- for Jio Prime membership). Hence, to avail the first offer the customer has to pay ₹1,999/- minus ₹2,010/- worth 4G data against dongle exchange, so the cost of JioFi device becomes free. To avail the offer the users have to just pay ₹408/- and their old dongle. 2) The second offer is where the customers don't have to exchange their data card or dongle. The JioFi is available at ₹1,999/- along with the first mandatory recharge of ₹408/- but since they get 4G data worth ₹1,005/-, so the actual cost comes down to an effective cost of ₹994/- (₹1,999/- - ₹1,005/-) + ₹408/-. The news is also confirmed on the Jio Care's twitter handle although it is not yet officially announced.
  17. Reliance Jio Prime Offer

Login to Jio account through web browser and check plan. Or Raise a ticket through MyJio > Jio care > Service request stating that not getting proper plan benefits - you will get a call back within 48/72 hrs. Hope things get sorted.
  18. Reliance Jio Prime Offer

Try sending a few SMS & then see from which account it is getting deducted from. Our My plan is still showing only "Summer Surprise - 303 + Prime membership" & no queued plans.
  19. Reliance Jio Prime Offer

What do you mean? Are you getting 1GB/day? Is your 149 plan balance still showing 2GB balance? Please clarify. Did they reshuffle the activation order - may be currently DDD is active & 149 will come later (after 84 days).
  20. There shouldn't be any issue if it was a prepaid connection. Wait for 5 days & check your new sim once the old (Idea) sim stops working.
  21. idea 4g in Mumbai

IND 404 999 = Indian Air Force's 3G network, named as Air Force Cellular (3G/UMTS over 900MHz). This WCDMA enabled cellular network was launched in October 2013 with collaboration with HCL and Alcatel Lucent India. IAF has given more than 1 lakh mobile phones to its personnel of the rank of Sergeants and above to connect and provide secure 'end-point' connectivity to the air warriors deployed across the country. In the phase I of this project the network was limited to New Delhi NCR, but phase II is of expanding the network across the country. Source
  22. I have also observed that some sites with https SSL connections do not open in Firefox while connected through tethering via Android Hotspot. Whereas opening the same site through Chrome or Edge loads without any issue. After flushing DNS cache or clearing Firefox cookies & cache or restarting PC, sometimes the site starts loading in Firefox too. Seems there is some secure connection bug while connecting Windows device to Android (via tethering) which causes speed throttling too. Read my post here to overcome speed issues caused by tethering.
  23. Normally smtp Port (25) is blocked in firewall for WiFi connection. Check firewall settings. I don't think that Jio will block smtp Port to stop spam as practised by some ISP's.
  24. AIRCOM ?

I agree. What I meant was voice users are not network conscious as long as connectivity is good whereas for data users switching from 4G to 3G or 2G makes a hell of a difference. After the advent of Jio, all telecom companies are running in loss - including Jio. (at present)
  25. I wonder why some people are still complaining regarding Jio' pricing & also frowning against the withdrawal of unlimited night (2 AM - 5 AM). Those who have recharged with ₹499/- & above got 100GB Flat for 90 days & those stuck with ₹303/- Summer Surprise 1GB/day can always recharge with Booster-pack if needed. I think they are the one who never complained while 1GB 3G data used to cost ₹251/- for 28 days. How can we be so GREEDY? Why can't we be rational?
